I've had so many requests for a new plushie video so I decided to make THREE at once! I've wanted to do a "remake" of some of the existing plushie DIYs for a while, just to provide more inspiration of what colours and adaptations you can create. I chose the sheep and cat plush which were my favourites. Anyone following me on Snapchat and Instagram (username @maqaroon on both) might remember that I made a few sheep plushies as gifts in the past. These make great DIY Christmas presents and are really relaxing and enjoyable to sew.
If you already have some experience with sewing, then these should be very easy to make. If you're a complete beginner, then you should get the hang of it after practising with a few plushies. Or you can ask a parent or friend with sewing experience to make these with you, and help you with the stitching if need :). This is a great DIY to do together, especially during the holiday time.

Me and my friend do something handmade for each other every Christmas. So I find this video really helpful and I think she will fall in love with the sheep so I'm going to attempt to make it. Hi! Good question, and no it doesnt! I actually hand-washed the sheep plush in soap two days ago and I was curious to see what would happen. I didn't rub the face area that much and the blush stayed in place. However I'd definitely recommend hand-washing these plushies (not washing machine) and don't leave them to dry face-down because the water pools downwards and can cause faint water-marks when dry

Sure you can! I did about 5 of those kittens and made 1 sheep! Very simple. If you don't want to ruin a comfy pair of socks, you can use regular old socks like I did to test it out.

I love these plushies! They seem so simple and the materials so easy to get that they feel like very tangible projects that aren't beyond my skill set; I'm definitely going to try them out someday! I made the sheep plushie for some friends of mine. They absolutely loved them. When my mom saw them, she wanted to have one too but I didn't have enough socks for another one at home. T_T Besides that I suck at felting (I smashed the needles into my hand/fingers so many times) it was really alot of fun to make the plushies and even more to see the happy faces of my friends when they saw them. Hi! You can them on Amazon by searching "fluffy socks" or "microfiber socks" but it's often much easier and cheaper to get them from discount shops, dollar stores, large supermarkets or cheap clothing chains like Primark/H&M.

Probably :) It just won't be as sturdy (though these kinda plushies can't be given to little kids anyways in case they eat the eyes or whatever, and adults aren't likely to be rough with them, so that shouldn't matter xD) And you'll have to be careful not to burn yourself :) One major negative of using a lot of hot melt glue on a project though - once finished, along the seamline that you glued shut, you can feel the hard, dried glue and it definitely lowers the quality, I discovered this the hard way D:

Hi! I wouldn't recommend hot glue for this tutorial since the fabric needs to be stretched quite a lot with stuffing. Glue isn't strong enough to hold the fabric closed, and especially if you try doing it with hot glue, chances are very high you'll end up burning your fingers :(.

Maqaroon Ah, true, I didn't think about the fact that it's fluffy fabric and so it won't get as good a hold anyways :/

GuineaPigzPlay Dont use super glue on fabric! It burns through the fabric and makes you really sad! (I speak from personal experience)

Also,for anyone that doesn't have the pastel/makeup,you could probably just sew on little pink pieces of fabrics for the cheeks.
