I think moms tend to go more basic with their clothing choices after becoming moms because it takes less mental effort and time. Like you know a long line bra tank and leggings are gonna go together and look good quickly.

I love the preppy tennis looks, the skirts are also fantastic paired with a knit sweater in the fall and spring, and so easy with a tank in the summer

Soooo relatable. I went through a similar journey postpartum with my clothes because your body is just no longer pregnant and also not the same as before pregnancy either. It does stabilize out eventually but it's nice to have clothes you are comfortable/confident in during the transition time. I didn't realize how much trying to squeeze into things was effecting how I felt until I did a mini clothing haul before returning to work after my maternity leave and actually had clothes that fit.

This is so relatable. I’m currently postpartum with baby #3, and have 3 under 3 so my body has been for a wild ride lol… I hold onto weight while nursing then lose a bunch of weight during my first trimester so my poor body has been back and forth between 4 sizes these past 3 years 😂 one of the most confusing things that no one talks about is that postpartum wardrobe…!! Loved the video ❤ every pregnancy and postpartum season I’ve bought new clothes bc we all deserve to have clothes we feel good in, and somehow every season is different. I just keep small bins of my absolute favorites for each size/stage 👌

Playful basic is a new style esthetic as of this video. This is definitely my style moniker and I’m not technically a mom. All of the clothes looked great on you Rachel! I feel like that went without saying but I said it anyway for emphasis.

I had to think hard about the word jumper 😂. Ok I realized what I picture a jumper as is basically be overall version of a short dress. So it has the buttons like overalls. They’re not always denim though

Soma has my favorite underwear. Their vanishing line has silicone strips so they can be full coverage, not ride up and give you a wedgie, and they don't show under leggings. Highly recommend! Also, Parade sometimes has an underwear recycling bag, but I haven't seen it in awhile.

After i became a mom, I really adopted the "sporty" mom look. Leggings, sports bra, sweater or loose tshirt...if I feel spicy I'd wear a real bra and crop top lol 😆.
