Ohtani is just the tonic baseball needs. He's a guy that everyone can root for whether or not your an angels fan, because he's just so much fun to watch. This is the best move the angels have made in years, because ohtani isn't just exciting for angels fans, he's exciting for everyone. He's a once in a lifetime type talent, maybe babe Ruth is the only comparison I could make.

I've told this to a few people I know and they could care less it seems. Or maybe they think I'm crazy 😆. Either way. I'm not gonna miss this guys career for anything. I feel like I'm watching Mantle or the Babe.

@@tyler-ek7eg Those aren't the Angel's announcers, they have certain catch phrases that they say and their voices are different. If you look at the video that highlights just his 26th home run, those are the Angel's announcers. These guys are different, but still acknowledge how great he is

No, the Yankees supporters were totally stunned in the beginning but then many in his 2nd & 3rd homers actually cheered and clapped hands, especially the day after these 3homers. Ohtani was being walked by the Yankees and instead Ohtani scored by home steal(before this he and his team mate succeeded a double-steal in previous inning). Basically, almost every other stadiums Angels went this year, Shohei was the only player always welcomed by big cheers or claps even if he had homers and home team pitchers got boo for walking Ohtani. And there were MVP calls every Ball park he went except the last few games against Mariners. Ohtani ended up broke the Mariners' dream of going to Post season by bombing his 46th homer in 1st inning at the last Game, then it led Angels to win the last Game of this season.

He is a legend.
