This is my entry for the Hardware Jams fecesbook group, week 18, 3 Body Problem challenge.

Another shared 3rd place in the vote! Damn, I'm getting pretty good at those! 😁
We would love to kick off our 6th birthday with a sci-fi themed series of challenges inspired by the book, and TV-series 3 Body Problems.
There are many scientific themes in the series that can be easily applied to our music and I would love to start with the main topic: 3 Body problems, a mathematical dilemma that is really difficult to solve, or even impossible. en.wikipedia.o... for an explanation.
As the main issue, is gravity, this can be applied to our music by creating variations. For example, you can choose to use different LFO’s to control a single parameter, using various ENV’s or anything that you see fit, to create a little bit of chaos and variation to your jams.
If you like this, a thumbs up, comment and/or hitting that subscribe button, would really mean a lot to me! I got plenty more coming; House, Tech, D'n'B, and more, as well as videos showing off various music tech I get my hands on. I'll do my best to make that subscription worth your while ;-)

About the production:
All synth sounds except one from Access Virus TI Snow (the last one is Arturia Pigments). Probably 2 hours work total on this one, again that includes video sync, rendering time, upload etc.
I quite like the 3 Body Problem series on Netflix, and like the prompt says, there's a lot of inspiration to be had from the different layers.
Obviously working with a synth like the Virus TI, I recorded clips and layers, I could have used its multitimbrality, but I was late (per usual) and haven't really explored that feature. I have the device controls on the APC40 locked to a DJ-style effects rack, I created years back with Ableton plugins. I think it was for my live performance at The Beach back in 2018.

Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd gen
Ableton Push & Suite 12
Akai APC40
