I am getting a mild sound from rear differential on my 2018 nissan rogue, 64000 mile driven and the car mechanic team asking me to change the complete set of differential which cost 3500 dollar for new one and 2700 dollar for used one. They said its the bearing issue inside the differential but not serviceble. Its just a begining. Not at the worst condition. Whats your opinion on this? Please advice
My Captiva AWD has an issue. While turning the steering or making a U-turn at slow speed, the car shudders as if something is holding the tires. While reversing and turning the steering, it holds the tires with vibrations. Moreover, both the rear tires are worn only on the inside. The problem doesn't seem to exist when I remove the drive shaft. I tried to change the drive shaft of a good car, but the problem didn't seem to go away. Please help me. What might be the issue with my vehicle?
