Most of the time in S. Carolina don't need them either. In the middle of the summer the temp can be 95F(35C), but with the humidity, & heat index it can feel closer to 110F(43C) - 120F(48C) with 95% - 98% humidity.

That's not far off from S. Carolina with that kind of humidity at times. Personally I would only use a humidifer for a short period of time if your sick, and the vapor can help, otherwise run them too often, and they can cause black mold, like in the case of one of my crazy aunts who had one going almost 24/7 which caused black mold to grow on the insides of her walls( to be noted it was an older home from the 40's with poor insulation) thus making her sick, and the house being condimed by 2 contractors, and SC DHEC(Department of Health & Environmental Control) leading it to be torn down by a bulldozer.

Pinkelman I bought 2 and after awhile they did not sound right. in a few months, they both did not work. They are not 100% water proof I don't think. You're not the only one, mine broke too in a few months. Makes me upset he's advertising a product that will break in only a few months

Crazy Villarruel it's a cheap speaker so the bass isn't that amazing. Still pretty good sound for something you can use in the shower.

I bought my first one and submerged it in a pool, it stopped working. I bought my second one and after a while it started getting less loud up to the point where my laptop was louder. It's cheap but not good. I recommend this one www.amazon.com/Cambridge-SoundWorks-OontZ-Angle-Generation/dp/B010OYASRG works great, not waterproof though.
