At 11:00: "if he was inside the building and left, the cop would have to give him a written trespass" - no he wouldn't. The cop who is issuing trespass warning is not performing law enforcement function, because there's no criminal complaint. He is performing community service function, specifically a service for the property owner by issuing trespass warning on his behalf; accordingly he has the same rights as the property owner himself, and the right to demand identification, or insist on any particular form of trespass warning such as a written one, is not one of them. This was nicely put in Florida case "Rodriguez vs State": "Police officer conducts a stop [to issue a trespass warning] as an agent of the property owner. Accordingly, we conclude that a stop merely to issue a trespass warning is not a Terry stop, but rather a consensual encounter. As a result, a citizen's refusal to provide accurate identification during such an encounter would not be an arrestable offense. "

The video of the guy outside the bank recording. Actually, the security guard broke the law by leaving her post. Her somewhat rent a cop authority only protein to inside the bank. When she came to public property or the public sidewalk, she broke the law by carrying a firearm in public. To which I think that is California and if it is she committed a felony?

The bank security guard is crazy. It's not federal property, it's federally insured. Regardless, he's videoing from PUBLIC PROPERTY. Security guards are those individuals too ignorant to be police officers.

Id love just one of these tyrant incompetent fools to show us the law that says its illegal to own a camera or be recorded in public! Where is it ? Maybe they can show us all the law that says its now a crime to be a law abiding citizen while theyre at it.
