3 Creepy Emails with Disturbing Backstories 

Joe shouldn’t have confirmed that the house in the picture is his parents house. He should’ve just not responded to the emails and called the police if the person persisted. Or deny all the personal information the blackmailer had on him and still go to the police. Him confirming anything was way more dangerous.

For the last story they should have just called the police rather than yelling threats into the phone at the person so they had a chance to dispose of the phone and never be caught...

No scary story reader on RU-vid can ever do it the same as mr. nightmare. This is the og. It doesn’t get better then this.

As for the first story, I would just glance, delete the email, & never open it. Tf they gonna do if you never respond?! They’ll just move on to the next possible victim

I think the Dom Peter one was the most scary. What started off seeming like a regular scam turned out to be an actual threat culminating into a break in. It's like an actual thriller movie.

I got one email saying that they have my search history and it was "sick and disgusting", I suppose searching for lettering books offended some people. 😂😂 Anyway, I ignored it. Nothing happened.

It’s ok to ghost someone if you don’t know them ESPECIALLY online. I think our society puts too much pressure on being polite rather than keep yourself safe…if you get a weird feeling or you know that person ain’t right, listen!

The no. 1 is so annoying. They should have called the police before yelling at the thiefs and expose everything.

I had a stalker when I was 12. It was my stepfather's friend from work. I hadn't even met him but he saw a picture of me my stepdad showed had in his wallet and apparently he became fixated by that. We were surprised how quickly things started happening. Start seeing a work truck follow me everywhere to school and with my friends. My parents contacted the police department. It stopped after that But it's hard to describe when you have someone stalking you. I remember being at the bus stop. I would see his work truck down the road circling around the street. It's bizzare how quickly you realize your life is no longer your own. Thankfully it didn't last long and the cops squashed it before it began. So I guess I was really lucky.

"You're in an incredibly sketchy part of town and this has a million red flags of being a trap. Can we meet somewhere else?" "Nah, I'm comfy here. Come pick me up." "Okie dokie." This guy's IQ is in the single digits

One word of advice to all of us: DO NOT RESPOND TO SUSPICIOUS EMAILS, period!! The first story is one such example of involving law enforcement and protection to your family/friends, not waiting for things to happen, that’s stupidity right there. Like always, Mr Nightmare delivered on any day, not just Friday.

I got one of those password email scams. It actually had a very old password that I don’t use anymore. they said that they recorded me on my computer camera and would release it to the Internet if I didn’t pay them. Problem is I don’t have a computer camera none of my computers had cameras. Stupid.

The first story definitely gave me chills knowing the person wasn’t bluffing

If I was in the last story, I wouldn’t have let the robbers know that I knew it was a scam, I would’ve just called the police and let them get there because the robbers probably fled once they found out they were caught

I got an email from this unknown person one time and it had pictures of me when I was younger, I called the police and they never found out who it was that was sending that stuff. Nothing has happened since then.

I received a similar email where the sender wrote my password and asked for money. But I read it and then totally ignored it because 1. The email was likely sent from the US because it asked me to pay in dollars. I live in India so I figured he won't come all the way to India to threaten me. 2. The password he wrote was my old one from way way back. Since then I have changed several passwords so I wasn't really worried about it 😎

I had a roommate years ago obsessed with a celebrity. I went into her bedroom to retrieve something at her request, there was a wall of pictures of said celebrity with partners pictures cropped out and my roommates photo pasted in. Oddly her gf at the time was almost the spitting image of the celebrity.

The way these people deal with their problems is a 101 on what NOT to do 🤦🏻‍♀️

I know this is supposed to be scary and it is but this is the hardest I've laughed all day. Especially when you showed the image of the girl from hey Arnold to indicate the shrine, I lost it 🤣🤣🤣

What's worse is that if you do pay the asked amount to a blackmail person that asked, how tf do you know they won't go after you again because they can simply make you vomit out until you no longer have cash.

First story… what a joke. If you say you’re gonna do something, back it up. Don’t tell somebody they’re gonna get shot if you don’t have a gun. Also, just recklessly endangered his parents without their knowledge. Thank god that scammer didn’t follow through with his threats just like the writer.

This video title alone creeped me out because a few days ago I was deleting emails. And I was about to empty my spam and I checked one email that was titled “Please Look” and in the email there was no words, but an attached picture of my moms car in our driveway. It was really creepy.

Mr. Nightmare I have been searching RU-vid for almost 4 years searching for the content you provide. I won't name any of the "creepy " channels that claim real stories and disturbing events that always turn out to be cheesy fictional crap. I've been watching your videos for the past three hours , thank you for work, your videos are all exactly what they claim to be. when I'm sitting home alone at night and want to experience that creepy wierded out feeling I know where to go. In 6years of watching mr.nightmare I never missed one video, yes I’d be a few hours or days late but I’ve watched every single one and have watched every single one through effortlessly. At age 12 I got into demons all that psychotic spooky shi and started watching mr.nightmares videos. After watching one. I couldn’t stop. Yes I loved them but I was also 12 and petrified resulting to me having to keep my light on 24/7 (sorry mom,PSNG was wild). Now at almost 19 I’m putting his videos on and catch myself falling asleep because I can picture the situations so vividly it’s just my peace. The detailed descriptions, sound effects, images, the different voice tones. It’s all so professionally done and always has been since I was little. I appreciate all the hard work he puts into his videos and more than that I appreciate how consistent he has been over all these years, I don’t know how he does it. I hope you come out with your own story book one day mr.Nightmare seriously I’d read it in a instant. I can confirm the comments are true he doesnt ever miss.

It's best to never even open an email that looks like blackmail, because more often than not, the sender receives the notification that it was opened and that the account is active and will try and pester you more.

Not really a scary email story, but definitely a creepy one. This happened in my freshman year of highschool, and I got an email from a student (who I would prefer to keep nameless) on my laptop. He said I seemed nice and he wanted to get to know me better, and for me to meet him at a certain part of the school near some restroom around the last period of the day. Something was definitely sketchy, and I got the chills just from reading it. I didn't want to interact with the message whatsoever, so I chose not to respond. However a couple days later, I see another email by the SAME KID, who wanted me to come meet him near the restroom, and how he wanted to be my friend. I wasn't having it, I responded telling him no, and that I wanted to be left alone. Luckily, he took the hint and backed off. I still don't know what would've happened if I agreed to go with him, it could've been something completely innocent but...these days you just don't know.

The people in the 3rd story probably could’ve tracked the iPhone or laptop and then called the cops instead of screaming into the phone, letting the thieves get away and making sure that they’d never get the stuff back.

The guy had his address and pictures of his parents house. That story freaked me out so bad. I’m going to continue to watch the next 2 stories. i got the same mail as the first story in 2020, august/july iirc, but i only ignored it, changed the passwords and moved on, maybe that's what they want (so they know the account is still active and they can trace you) or maybe i was just lucky

As someone who knows what it's like to tell a woman to leave you alone as bluntly as you can multiple times and still have them harass you, I can sympathize. Mine was a coworker at an old job, and even though I know HR wouldn't have done sh*t about it (there were far worse things that went on that they ignored), I always regretted not filing complaints so there was at least a record. If anyone out there, man or woman, goes through something similar, my advice is that the worst thing you can do is stay quiet. Speak up. There will be people who ignore it or turn a blind eye. But there are also good people out there who will stand by you and make sure something gets done. And if it happens at work like it did for me, and they do nothing, file a law suit. Even if it goes nowhere, it will at least damage the reputation of a scummy company that allows that kind of thing to go on.

About six years back I got some random emails stating if I didn't pay up 10,000 via PayPal harm would come to my family. The person also sent screenshots of my mom's house I was staying at. Luckily I was home alone all week due to my mom staying with my sick aunt. After a couple days a note was left on my door stating I had 24 hours and they know I'm home alone. I called the cops, they took a statement but said it must've been a prank. The cops in my town were useless. Well, that night I invited three buddies who were firmer service members and armed to the teeth over for beer and pizza. 1 AM rolled around and a suspicious van pulled up. Twice guys got out. One skinny with long, stringy hair and an obese guy who was bald with a goatee got out. They were carrying rope, a black bag, a big ass bowie knife. The fat guy had the rope over his shoulder and a black bag in his right hand. The skinny guy had the knife on his belt and pulled it off. Mind you, we were kind of drunk and testosterone was going strong. I stepped out onto my front porch, handgun tucked behind me. Me: "The fuck you want?" Skinny: "Told you, you should've paid." My three buddies stepped out. Two with their hand guns, my crazy marine friend brought his AR and I showed my gun. "Take another step, we light you up." They freaked out, the fat guy yelling "Let's get the fuck out of here!" As they jumped in their van and drive off. Thinking now I should've held them until the cops come. Who knows if they got anyone else. Suffice to say, I was young, dumb and full of spunk. Now, I regret not stopping them. They might very gotten others....

I've had this happen. My husband's accounts were hacked. Bank, amazon, email, text, messenger, our spicy accounts. They got my noods and sent them to our employers. For months we had to fight this. Make all new accounts. Etc. Nightmarish life.

I got a few of those "I have embarrassing footage of you" BS spam emails. Like, if the threat is sending some weird picture of me "enjoying myself" to family members, I obviously wouldn't want that necessarily, but no way in hell would it be enough to get me to shell out money 😆 If that actually happened I'd just be like "don't open it, I obviously didn't send it"

People still think bipolar means mood swings. It does but they aren't nice vs mean it's like watching someone be on adderall then crash. And the swings take days to months
