Hey y'all! Thanks for stopping by! Today's video is all about Cantu's new new! Well kind of. lol! It's Cantu's Shea Butter Define and Shine Custard! For Natural curls, coils and waves! What got me was the the claim for brillant shine and HOLD! I had to play with this over a course of three days to get it right! Hopefully this video was helpful!

I remember when I was in college this girl walked past me and she said " it smells like a coconut rainforest." In the black dude next to her said you smell black girl magic 😂😂. I only use Cantu because of the scent back in the day.

I use eco style olive oil gel because I love the results it gives me, however Im starting to believe it may smell awful. Anyone else think this when they use the green one?

I literally did a wash n go yesterday and used this and it is a mess. I even did it again with the moisturing creme and still a head full of residue. I tried with oil, leave-in, mousse, gel, and green eggs and ham... Child... Me and Cantu having issues, but I'm glad yours came out looking good lol.

Using a leave in used to be mandatory for me. But I've been taking better care of my hair and it's finally truly hydrated. Which makes all the difference. So now, a leave in is optional. And I often go without one. Because they can absolutely dilute the power of some stylers.

Let me tell you, Cantu has been having some surprises lately! I use their avocado masque to deep condition and the guava protein masque. GIRL. My hair drinks it up! If you haven’t tried them give it a shot!

I went out today and brought the new look custard, curling cream and a water bottle. My daughter is so excited for me to do her hair. I love her curl but having a hard time finding the right products to work with. Now I don't have curly hair like her, she got it from her father. She cant wait to wear her hair down. Hiya , thank you for this amazing video but with the flaking , I suggest you should emulsify the product properly between your palms first before applying. This also applies to any other product , shampoo , conditioner, styler etc . xx

The way I expeditiously added this to cart😂 I tried this out with the carols daughter goddess strength leave-in and a little bit of wetline. The shine, definition, and soft hold is everything 😭😭 we’ll see how it holds up for the week. Thanks for the recommendation!

My hair only curled at the ends so I decided to use natural products, cantu, and found out that my natural hair is wavy to curly and I have been using it ever since. It is soo good!

The define and shine is the only Cantù product I use and like. Just remember your hair need to be dripping wet when using it. I hope the formula hasn’t changed from the original. Also for some reason it flake but the hold is amazing.

I just tried the curl refresher spray and I must say it is a nice spray on day 3-4 post wash day. I think I will try this as well! It looks beautiful!

Hey beautiful, first off hello 👋🏾, I don’t know if I ever commented but I love your channel but I love Cantu and being a type 4 girl … my hair still loves it especially there Cantu scent and there original cream shampoo, conditioner, Co-Wash and deep treatment mask and deep conditioning treatment and there Cantu avocado gel is my go to for styling my mini mouse buns lol and I would try this later though because I am HEAVY HANDED and I haven’t tried all they stuff but I’ve tried most and I’ll still use them over “high end” stuff and I love your hair but have a blessed day Queens

I have that product in my hair right now and it's crunchy crunchy because Im also heavy handed but I'ma try it with the curl activator to see if I get a softer hold. I do have some flaking but I believe it's because I started to use a leave in (tgin curl food) and the flakes are only in the places where I didn't completely rinse out the curl food. But I do prefer a softer hold and will be trying this again.

Ugh! I was so excited to try this, but when I looked at the ingredients listing, I see it has coconut oil 😭...why does EVERYTHING good have coconut oil 😔. Sad I can't use because I'm VERY allergic. For everyone who would love to try. They have it at Sally Beauty...and...there is a 4 for 20 sale going on that includes all cantu products 🤗.

I dont know about anyone else but it gave me an itchy skin or itchy scalp.idk why .loved the product. My curls looked great. Less frizz mote moisture.loved it. .for the first time i had my curls the way i wanted too. But the itchiness😔😬

This is where they really need to have a step 1 product before using it because the same thing happened to me when I used the Miele pomegranate custard and the miss Jessie’s custard. Like great results, but I couldn’t get rid of the flaking even when using the whole product line or just by itself. Still haven’t went back either which sucks because I hate wasting product

Just spray water to tone down the flakes. Your hair needs moisture anyway to grow

How would u compare Mielle Organics Curling Custard to this? Bc I love those kinds of slimy goopy custards the slip and definition and hold. Except The Mane choices caution gel , it was doo doo and smelled like mop water..
