Great video guys! So glad to see your hot spring experience was a good one. Unfortunately we were not as lucky at Umpqua. It was totally overrun, filthy, and there was trash everywhere. We’re in need of some OR hot spring redemption and will have to check this out next time we’re up there. Cheers!
I did 5 Gallon Buckets about 30 years ago on one of my first trips to Smith. Loved it then. Need to go back. What's the name of the route you showed earlier? Did that one too and remember it being super fun. Keep up the adventure!
If you have an adventurous spirit, continue down the gully a lil ways from the Terwilliger springs. Soon you will intersect the creek that feeds the waterfall visible from the Terwilliger trailhead. Take a right turn hiking up said creek another quarter mile or so, and you will discover another waterfall that is much more exclusive, beautiful, and not visible from the road or trail… Respect and enjoy, please😎
