I was there in 05, and let me tell you people something! The water from the gorge into the river was ice cold and it was delicious. No bacteria, no germ of any kind. The water was crystal clear and oh my, nothing like mountain air and clean water to drink! I don't know how it is now since post past pandemic and the drought Northern Italy experienced. And no snow high up in the alpine regions of Aosta!
