Hi Guys, I was wearing your guy's hoody with your logo on the back and I was in Walmart in Klamath Falls, OR where I live now and someone came up to me and said they watch you too on RU-vid. I was in Japan back in 1984 when I worked for a computer company DEC (Digital Equipment Corps), I was at Cannon Manufacture which made a printer we use under our brand. I was an Engineer and had to write a Repair Process when I returned home to NH where I used to live 7 work in MA back then. I was in Tokyo for 3 1/2 weeks on the company's dime and stayed at the Tokyo Hilton. I had a $ 500-a-day expense account. I loved it a lot, & many of the places changed but there were family places that are still there.
You two would not believe that I am watching your second Japan video for the third time. Just as I get a notification about this one. ❤❤❤ You are awesome Dave and Tanya.
I was stationed at Misawa in northern Tohoku so I know about the amazing amount and quality of snow in that region! That whole area is the snowiest in the world! I never thought of ever RV'ing in that area though.
Wonderful to watch. Thank you! You captured the spirit of Japan. We visited there few years back during the summer -- it was amazing and simply breathtaking. Hope you guys can come back during the warmer months to enjoy what Japan has to offer then.
What a day! Great hosts, great food, picking up some Japanese language, cozy cabin, igloo, coffee. But, growing up in Detroit, that sledding took me straight back to my childhood. Enjoy Tanya and Dave.
1st time i see a proper food displayed in a travel video, well-done guys m liking this...Dave here from South Africa been following ur channel for years now even after RU-vid closed my account 3x for no reason...just saying...keep the videos coming
I'm on my second night at 2 rv parks. This is my first time. I'm on my own since my husband passed last year before we were going to begin this RV life. I'm in Vancouver WA right now. Heading to Sultan, WA (home) still will live in this rv since I have renters living in my house. But things I still want to do on this RV for renovation.
I definitely could not eat with y’all. The smacking of food and the slurping would make me sick. 🤢 I get it, the slurping is common there, but it doesn’t mean I like it, and Tonya’s smacking food….uh nope! 😂
You guys are a blast! My significant other was also Black and you guys remind me of our relationship that made my life worth living! Too many outside influences ruined it for us and we had to part. You guys make me happy. Love is a beautiful thing.
Thanks so much for sharing, sorry to hear that things didn’t work out in your prior relationship. We really appreciate your kind words. Have you spent time in Japan before?
Your Hokkaido adventures are EPIC! I love this change of scenery, and your unique style of RVing works splendidly in highlighting the different aspects of the Japanese culture in the area. These videos make for a season of a Netflix-level series. Great work! Thank you for my weekly getaway and safe travels.❤
WOW! Thank you very much for that. We really appreciate hearing that. p.s. Feel free to head over to Netflix Instagram and tell them all about us and how this would make a great series. 😉❤️ TURN IT UP 🔥
Sooo much fun!!! I want to go to Japan and go to all of those beautiful places and eat where you went to eat. And first of all go Rving in Japan and stay at those beautiful cabins.❤😊🇯🇵
Yess-the natives over in Japan believe in showing hospitality and gift giving. The wine and snacks are perfect gifts. I’m sure enjoying your trip 😂 myself. 💜
When I realized you would be experiencing Japanese culture and hospitality, I could not help but smile. I knew you were in for a treat. I am an African American who lived in Japan for a few years. Enjoy!
The first time, my family of 4 spent 3 years at Yokota Air Base, near Fussa City, which is about an hour from Tokyo. The second time, it was myself and my daughter, who was a teen at the time, living at Iwakuni Japan for 5 years. At Yokota, I was privileged to teach English to Japanese adults and teens in my home. At Iwakuni, I taught on the military base. I count myself as a generous, hospitable person, but the Japanese initiated and returned kindness ten-fold, not just with gifts but also experiences. I love your channel. You are a beautiful couple. Continued blessings.
Heyy Tanya and Dave I was having fun with you, nice cabin very cozy watching you cross country skiing and sledding was the highlight of the day,the host was amazing awesome food, yes Dave I would've to pull out my fork too lol, enjoy the rest of your vacation stay safe ❤
Your sledding was my favorite part of this video. You were having so much fun, I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing😂😂. I love to see ppl having fun. And I felt it when you said, “If you would have told me I’d be sledding in Japan.” It’s amazing where life can take you. 🕊️💜
Our dear sis is out there making adventure happen by her lonesome until hubby is up...I love it & love your amazing spirit!🎉 David, I bet, loved the footage!!!
I have loved 😍this whole video and this 'Japan" series...yet the 'Tanya sledding' scenes did my heart good 🤩😍🤗. Thank so much for sharing that! I needed it!!
Tanya don’t feel bad about the snow skiing. You did great . The first time I tried the skis went backward and i went forward and did a faceplant. I was stopped and just looked up a hill and whoops. Lol. The ski is were only connected on the toe area which were different from Japan’s skis. Thankfully I did catch on and had fun. I was much better at downhill skiing.
I hope you catch some air Tanya! That looks like so much fun. Even my 60yr old self want to still wants to sled. Dave, I love using chopsticks even though I suck at it. I generally got for the fork about half way through.
Such a fun few days! Living with snow is standard for we northerners...but watching other cultures do the same thing is comforting...our commonality. Love the food tutorial
Love you guys, but could I see more of the country side, nature, animals, plant life and everyday culture living homes, gardens and tea houses? Thankyou 😇
