My father told me the story of when he was a boy growing up in the 1930's on a farm in rural New England with his 8 siblings. One of the children obtained a Ouija board and they were playing with it one autumn evening. The children were asking it simple questions and receiving silly answers. My grandmother, who was in another room, casually called out, "Ask it where I've lost my riding gloves...!" (Women often wore leather gloves in automobiles of that era because they were unheated.). The board responded, "Under quilt in closet." My grandmother went to her bedroom closet in our large old family farmhouse and found her missing gloves under a quilt that she had folded up and placed on the upper shelf 5 months prior. She immediately went back to the kitchen, snatched the board away from the kids and threw it in the wood-burning cookstove. Over and out!

I had a near death experience from these boards too.. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 true story don't know if the house got haunted but if it did the spirits were terrified of the 10pound hard back 100 year old family Bible and a 5 foot angry woman on a rampage and left. Something happen? My cousin had one. We'd visit them a couple times a year and he got it out one day when we were there. Although it was entertaining, I thought it a bunch of BS. My SIL believes in ghosts, aliens, and what have you. I think she's full of it as well 😂

@@kritizismmusics9737I’ve had one experience with a ouija board when I was a teenager. It started my interest in the occult. Instead of using the ouija board, I started using Tarot cards. I had some weird experiences when I was using the cards. I don’t know how much was me wanting strange things to happen and how much was from the spirit world. I finally got rid of the cards when I was in my late 20s. Now I just leave that stuff alone. I don’t know if they are portals to another realm but I tend to take the attitude of leaving well enough alone.
My brother and I played with an Ouija Board as kids. I was in middle school at the time. We played many times. Nothing ever happened. I haven't played with one since then.
I haven't considered myself a Christian in decades; whenever I hear the phrase, "The Devil made me do it.", I call BS; that was just you being ruled by your Shadow-self. That said, it's also true that doctors call the study of consciousness "quicksand", because Human Consciousness is too deep & unknowable. I really believe the Ouija board unleashes something from the depths of the Human Consciousness, in particular, the Shadow Self, that we don't know enough to control.
Paranormally Listed and Criminally Listed respectively does not have even one video that isn’t worth watching. The narration is perfect and the visuals are on point. I’ve heard of three weird Ouiji cases. Two were on Celeb Ghost Stories. One was with actress Kathryn Erbe at camp & actor Michael Urie. Both really creepy. The other I read about. Bostons Emerson College housed students in the old Charlesgate Hotel. When there were weird sightings & knocks, some started using the board. Things got so out of hand the college banned Ouiji boards in the dorm.

I know someone who I strongly believe was harmed by a board. A group of people played with one at a Halloween party i attended in 2006. One of the girls had it spell car to her. A few days later she was in a car accident. She survived but has to use a cane to walk

I saw a creepy set of videos on tik tok with a guy named Elias samael. He messed around with it and had a malevolent demon following him. He kept having seizures until his death. Great videos.

Those were so common back in the day, people used them like a lap board or a tray. It was an interesting pattern, that a generation later, I heard my kid's friends having the same reactions as I' d had with my friends; there was always a 'death' mentioned that drew everyone in for a long time.
We lived with my mom's parents and somehow my mom got a Ouija board and, on the weekends, when my dad's sister and her kids came out and stayed with us, they would play the board, my grandparents would take my brothers and I in their room and we'd watch TV together, my grandma said they were talking to the devil, one of my cousins got to where she could see the person they were supposed to be talking to on the board and she was able to move the planchet with her eye movements. Scary things started happening, red, green, and blue balls of light would fly through the house, lights would flicker, you could hear people whispering but no one was there. We lived on the reservation, we're very superstitious and grandpa moved us to his house and told my mom if she was going to move with us, the board wasn't going, so they stayed in the old house for a while, then they finally moved out, I don't know what they did with the board, but I never saw it after we moved to grandpa's house.
I think that Mark and Debby constantino they used to work ghost-hunting with Zak bagans I think something took hold of him something very evil made him kill his wife and her roommate I really believe that in my heart they were saying on one episode of Ghost hunters that they know there was something in their house and when I asked the ghostbox what is in our house all they heard was a scream every time they asked a question they would get just a scream evil doesn't speak that's how they communicate so they will like we got to get the hell out of that house next thing I know I saw on the news that Mark had killed Debbie and her roommate and himself I believe he was possessed
We used to play with Ouija boards, light as a feather, seances & all that when we were kids. We scared the crap out of ourselves a few times, but it was a hoot.

Ouija boards only have the power that the user gives them. Cardboard and cheap wood do not have a power on their own. I do believe in the paranormal, but I also believe that much of it has a simple explanation and it is just undiscovered science. After all, much of what today is chemistry was alchemy a long time ago, and witchcraft too. Having said that, common sense indicates that the Ouija is not anywhere near as dangerous as people thinks it is, mainly because the sales of it are still quite high and only a small handful of people report anything happening, and and even smaller number of people reports really dangerous and big events related to it. If the Ouija was as bad, we would have hundreds or thousands of things happening, but we don’t.
Dnt be fooled, they are very dangerous to play with it. I have a godfather who was a wizard who schooled me on a lot of things in life. It depends on the person and its frequency that resonates from the body that draws these entities. My parents and grandparents messed with the board before they Knew the Lord and and it put them thought a living hell it convince my dad his house was on fire and made him run down the street and when he got their he got taunted by demons my grandma was stabbing the board with kitchen knives
