Literally every cocktail channel on YT made “summer” cocktails today. The summer blues are real! Ice cream cocktails never been my thing but I do love a wine sorbet. 🍧
Been to Bryants many times in Milwaukee. The bar is amazing. The way they work is they ask you a series of questions to narrow down your flavor profile to select one of almost 400 cocktails they can make you. Miss that place so much. Foundation Tiki & At Random are the other amazing bars in Milwaukee if you're ever visiting. At Random is even more well known to locals for their ice cream cocktails.
So I made a tequila old fashioned with a twist and I absolutely love it. 2 oz tequila 1 ounce of agave syrup ( or to taste if you want it more sweet or bitter ) tajin fruit salt to taste I personally like a tablespoon. Then dilute with ice untill you are satisfied
A fun little fact about Crème de Noyaux | Tempus Fugit Spirits recreated a 19th-century-style Crème de Noyaux - distilling both apricot and cherry pits, amongst other botanicals, and coloring the liqueur with red cochineal ( a scale insect in the suborder Sternorrhyncha, from which the natural dye carmine is derived. A primarily sessile parasite native to tropical and subtropical South America through North America (Mexico and the Southwest United States), this insect lives on cacti in the genus Opuntia, feeding on plant moisture and nutrients. The insects are found on the pads of prickly pear cacti, collected by brushing them off the plants, and dried), as was done in the past. Care was also taken by Tempus Fugit to remove the trace elements of hydrogen cyanide produced in the process.

Drink mixer is a great purchase. Sometimes I just put pineapple juice in it with a little heavy cream and whip it up with pebble ice. It’s creamy and pineappley, and gets super foamy and fluffy

My wife bought me a drink mixer for my birthday back in April. I initially wanted it to accurately recreate some Smugglers Cove drinks. I’d be a liar if I said we aren’t constantly making boozy milkshakes. That Morgenthaler grasshopper is stupid delicious. I was making one once a week for a while.
I have tried a grasshopper before. I'm pretty sure that one did not have icecream. It did taste like a chocolate mint cookie though. I have also had some bourbon in a vanilla milkshake. I remember having a nice buzz off of that one.
I want to make a coffee liquer & a coffee syrup [the latter of which will see so much use in my house beyond alcohol]. Then I want to try a take on my [locally] famous frappaccino/moo-latté/coffee milkshake combined with a White Russian
Yes! I love a good Manhattan or Old Fashioned but I also... I mean, who doesn't love ice cream + alcohol? My friends and I use to make some *potent* very simple and strawberry-y drinks with Captain's spiced rum for our Girl's Weekend. Was literally just strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries, a sweet strawberry daiquiri mix [yeah, I know, but... we were young(er)?] and a shit-ton of the rum. I don't remember ever measuring it. We dumped it into the blender until we could fit no more 😂 Helluva time. Thankfully, I'm much more, uh, responsible now. 😅 But hey. It made for fun weekends, lol.
Without the ice cream, the mudslide is just objectively the best black/white russian variation. Little humblebrag here, but I independently came up with it before I knew it was already a thing. It's my most exciting alcohol related story. Obviously in retrospect I felt dumb I ever assumed it was possible that no one before me thought to swap out milk with boozy milk, hahaha.
Wow!! I love it!!! Honestly didn’t know you could do this with ice cream. Can you do it with sorbet or non dairy ice cream? And I think I definitely need one of those blenders. Lol
Anyone know of any good widely available coffee liquors? My state doesn't stock mr black or saint george (or any of the popular ones) and I was looking for something a little more dry than kahlua for certain drinks. My state also doesn't allow booze to be shipped in from elsewhere. Would it be worth it to homemake some? I'd really prefer to not drive 6 hours round trip just to get some saint georges.

Hey, just letting you know Morgenthaler does not own either Pepe Le Moko or Clyde Common, he’s just the lead bartender at both and manages the program. He made this extremely clear to me when I emailed him about a negative experience I had had at Pepe le Moko.

I think your videos can do without the music (it's one of the reasons I can't watch to much of How To Drink). This particular tune was annoying at least. I'm a big fan of the channel and I feel bad that my first comment here is a complaint, but it's only because I want the best for you!
