It's interesting that you left out multiple people having medical issues that brought the rally to a halt for 40 min. One of the people was a morbidly obese man who suffered a heart attack. So it took the EMT's quite a while to get him situated on the stretcher. Trump tried to distract and uplift the crowd during the shut down with music and dancing. I agree. The sampling number is ridiculously small and they're not taking into account all kinds of things - i.e., Gen Z, seniors (who are very much going for Harris), disaffected Republicans, and people who are voting for Harris, but are unwilling to admit that out loud in public (and, apparently there are quite a lot of them). So I'm ignoring the polls. The governors are right in treating this election as close because then they will do the work. One of the mistakes Hillary made in 2016 was not thinking it would be close, so the necessary work did not get done. AND, from what I've read (NY Times + others), the Republicans really aren't doing the work on the ground.
They interviewed all 3 of the governors together in 2020 as well (with ex-PA governor Tom Wolf in place of Josh Shapiro). But they weren't together like this because of the pandemic. But all 3 appeared on the screen at the same time.

Shapiro is now starting to look good here. He was very sullen, serious, almost irritable and unfriendly with reporters during the VP pick deliberation. You really gotta be likeable if you want to win because voters are irrational. Glad that he's able to warm up to reporters now.
From what I've been able to tell, he actually is very much like this most of the time. My guess is that during the VP pick phase, there was so much going on and he didn't want to tip the scales either way, so was being very cautious. Which is not a bad thing. But he normally is a really great guy and a good governor.

I think Shapiro is a terrible governor. Fracking is the lifeblood of PA's economy, and he is openly supporting Kamala and Walz, who are both anti-fracking. So he's putting party politics above the well-being of people in PA. Also, he is a sellout for supporting Kamala.
