I hope you guys like this I am trying to post videos once every few weeks and work really hard on them so they are not just a bunch of random junk videos lol. pls like and subscribe and turn on your notifications thx jamie
I was so hype about this video so I went and did it. (I was spending a lot of time working on them) My stepmom came home and told me it was stupid. Then they wonder why I don’t like leaving my room
Thats pretty trash of her keep doing it if you enjoy it ignore her its actually really fun making them but dont be like me and get addicted to making them im making to many 😝
Nobody should ever be allowed to tell someone else that something they are doing is stupid. Shame on her. Good vibes only. Do what you love. Dont listen to anybody.
Sweet Cheesecake it’s not that easy. I have a target by me that has mod lodge and hot glue but I need to take a bus there and I don’t have the time or money for that.
Go to the closest thing you have to a store with a craft section when/if possible. :| I don’t know what they have where you live but that’s my best advice.
booperdooper2.0k I tried to make a waterfall for some reason, I used a whole pack for it and ended up throwing away the project because it looked horrible 😔
using clear nail polish on hot glue makes it completely clear, so for the earrings encased in hot glue, just use clear nail polish (or glittery clear nail polish) on both sides and it creates a nice, almost clear resin like effect (but if there are bubbles it will show)
Here is a tip for anyone without safety pins, if you already have a back (the bit you put on a pin so it doesn’t stab you) you can use drawing pins. I did and it worked fine.
BEST TUTORIAL I'VE EVER WATCHED!! I made so many pins and they all look amazing!! (tip! if you want your pins to look shiny but you don't have modge podge or glue, just put on tape before you take it off the parchment paper, then cut it out ((i used the hot glue technique))
Now I can finally have lgbtq+ pins for my lanyard for school!!! (I’m pansexual btw uwu) update: i never ended up making them, and i’m assuming i commented this in 2019. actively a sophomore in highschool, 15, i’m non binary and use they/them pronouns, and i’m omnisexual
I tried this i drew them and they turned out great i found the glue gun bit over it for protection not so great but the mod podge was perfect this is the best idea ive found i also found you can use blank stud earrings instead of safety pins
Tysm edit: i tried it out and it turned out very amazing you can also use clear glue or white glue if you dont have mod podge it works the same i tried it with with glue since i dont have mod podge
You can seal you stuff with Mod Podge Dimensional Magic or Glossy Accents to make a hard glossy 3D coat! So much better than hot glue. If done right, it looks like resin though not as tough! However, I only use this method if I’m doing crafts with friends since it is nontoxic and easier to work with. It’s a better alternative to resin especially if you’re a minor or are doing crafts with minors, are hesitant to work with harsher chemicals, or are in a confined space like a bedroom. Resin is actually cheaper in the long run, though you will need some gear and leveling prep as well as safety precautions as that stuff can ruin your eyes and skin badly. I was comfortable working with resin since I regularly work in a chem lab, I know my lab safety and had my gear at home. I used my dad’s workshop tools for assistance.
Tysm!! I needed this so much because anytime I tried to find anime pins the prices would be 20-100. But but I get it, people spend a lot of time on these put I just won't be paying that much. But thanks :)
Finally something to do with the hot glue that oozes out of my gun when I'm not using it. I always feel a little guilty when I put my glue gun down in the middle of a project and when I turn back to it a few mins later there's a pile of glue.
I have seen some videos where they make it from plastic. I wanted to make it but i can't found #6 plastic😔..... but now i found your video and this is so much easier and safer. Thank you!🤩
Probably wouldn't. The erasable marker she used disappeared because those use friction (I.e. heat) to disappear, and the hot glue was enough to basically do the same thing.
