Great to see you back gav, you could all save yourselves a lot of hassle by getting an Alexa auto, best thing I have put in, takes 2 min to set up an works through your aux channel. Installed under arm rest lid and you don't even see it. Connects to web using your phone, Spotify is seamless. Leave plugged in all the time, as soon as you turn on the car your ready to go. Does everything a normal Alexa does.
Hey ! I hope someone can help me! I have a Honda Civic 2013, my iPhone is paired to the system but I would like to use my GOOGLE MAPS app. In my car but there’s no sound. I can phone anybody no probs sound is out. But for the rest audio is like off idk ? 🇨🇦

Hey. Good to see you! These Aux BT adapters can be finicky. I have been through many untill i found a decent one. Some disconnect on random, others don't auto connect to your phone. Others got bad sound quality. Even worse when one drains your car battery while off.
Ill be honest i haven't had any bad issues with this one, maybe once or twice it would not connect but turn it off and back on and it connects then. But hey they are really cheap so i can't complain. Cheers for your comment 👍
Hey! Nice channel. Just bought an Accord ES GT and I think this channel will help me get to grips with the car. Is there an easy way to get Google maps on the screen without having to fit a new head unit? Is a new head unit easy to do on these?
i have the same Accord and i use a USB Bluetooth receiver in the AUX USB port,pair my phone with that and listen to music from Spotify and i can even change the track from the steering weel buttons,the only thing is the bluetooth receiver has 3-5 sec delay but for music its not a big deal.
Hi Gav how ya doing, I have been using by receiver I got on wish for couple of quid since I got my car, have it plugged in for power always and works a dream. Really like the way if I get a in coming call the Honda Bluetooth kicks in and you get calls through that instead of the mic on the receiver. .

hey, I have Accord 2008 tourer but when I connect USB flash stick, I receive message unrecognized. I tried different types for formatting stick FAT32 with different allocation unite with mp3 with wav but every time display show unrecognize. Please give me advise what to try
I don't really understand your question, If you have Uploaded songs to your computer then yes, you can download them in MP3 format on to your USB drive.
Don't give up! I thought cobra kai never dies?! Lol anyway, it's most likely the file format is not supported. Find out what your car usb will support ie MP3/WAV ect. Convert the files to that format and then it should work. Some newer cars use different formats like (FAT32).
@@GPTV2020 - I think it was because I was using a 128 gb. BUT i'm BEYOND PISSSSSSED and let me explain. I have a 64gb Samsung USB. It's allllllllways worked flawlessly on my Pioneer theater navigation radio - I have a theater sound system with Infinity Kappa front speakers and tweeters and matching rear deck with 2 Alpine Subs = So I watch my converted videos on this Pioneer and my trunk rattles to it. I LOVE THIS RADIO. So I try to use it in my updated 2016 Accord - It says UNSUPPORTED - If that's the case, WHY THE FFFFFFFFFFF did it DELETE ALL MY FILES ?? Just don't play them. By deleting and corrupting my flash drive - Honda made an enemy, BIG TIME !!!! So let's say the many USB's that I format for my Honda radio, don't end up working. I "may" say forget this B S car's Navigation/Safety features with the "lane assist/nearby object sensors" and manipulate the radio and find a dash kit/harness and SUPE it up with my whole Pioneer system from my Nissan that I still own. I'll lose my beep beep and the camera feature when I make right turns, but I'll sleep better at night KNOWING I'll stuff a USB with 64-128gb of Videos/Movies and tons of MP3's without negotiation. *MY APOLOGIES FOR MY STORY* - With the car market and the FACT I was never a fan of Honda, this latest car has given me some issues. Having a V6 Honda Accord Touring Coupe, is a CHORE and people were fighting over this car. My apologies AGAIN.

You sound very annoyed with this car, i was at one point very much not a honda fan, i started out with a civic and never looked back, i love them so much now but my honda accord has given me some bad headache and I have considered dropping my love for honda because of this, but then i jump in my 1995 honda prelude and im in love again. I think they just don't make them like they use to. They seem to make thing much more complicated than they need to be, or they change something that was never a problem before. I think it's just the new world we live in now, everything is more hassle then then it should be. And don't worry about the rant, it's good to get things off your chest. If you decide to stick in the pioneer system you could always go back to stock if it turns out you don't want it or sell the car. I say do whatever make you happy pal.
@@GPTV2020 - I just bought it, with 28K miles and out of state buyers were happily willing to pay more than I did. Now if I take out the Honda stock radio and we all know, there's a computer inside of it for the "right turn camera and nearby sensors", would I shoot myself in the foot by Un-Installing it ?????? The same 128gb flash drive that was UNSUPPORTED by Honda in a 2016 car - It immediately got recognized in my Pioneer this morning. For a few seconds I was scrolling thru the Burger King Menu of Videos and MP3's. So I'll consult Honda and some big time Car Installer experts to find out my options. Thanks for the response, ummmm do you know if I could put my 18's on this car ? On Discount Tire it says 19" wheel/tires only.
@@cobrakainevereverdies6940 if the standard is 19s there could be a brake caliper issue with fitting smaller wheels but other then that it's just a calibration issue, the car is not calibrated for that wheel size, so your speed will be off slightly. As for the pioneer system, honda will tell you not to change it and it won't work, there is always a way, best to get a professional auto electrician/sound system installer to do itif your not sure. They would need to blank off or bypass things that needed to be connected, they could even have a harness adapter that would allow you to keep some of the standard functions.
