Story 3: She obviously had way better instincts than the “upper class” girl! Not everyone is alike, but being uncomfortable & tired, then being oblivious to the signs because of etiquette in ones upbringing is a bad time waiting to happen, especially if the person has never experienced any real hardship or trauma. Then it hits them harder because they haven’t been somewhat desensitized by going through horrible experiences. It would be great to have been sheltered & safe ones entire life, but these days the odds are against that unless one just never goes anywhere! Even that can’t guarantee that nature itself might strike in the form of a tornado, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.!

When I go deep wood hiking/camping apart from food & water I always carry an axe, survival knife, gun, first aid kit, intruder alert, solar powered motion activated garden light, 900-mile laser pen, powerful flashlight, and m-80 firecrackers. If I hear noise around my campsite I light a m-80 and throw it out. After the big bang things got quiet. I even shouted "Don't mess with me MFs or I will hunt you down"

Rule of thumb for those of you that plan on hiking in an area that you’re unfamiliar with, when you find a big hefty stick, that is not dry rotted. Around with you at all times, I’m surprised more people don’t carry weapons with them as they are supposed to,and although I’m sure we can all agree. Story number one is fake. If you ever do see something like this please keep it and start a case with the police
