Nice idea. I have a similar problem but what broke was the plastic at the caster wheel. I tried this and it worked. I had no idea how to fix the drawers until I saw this idea.
Thank you, Chris. Dean Simmons is correct - this is absolutely brilliant. And by the way, Amazon sells a pair of these right now for $55.64. I was on the verge of buying two replacements when I saw this price tag. It was worth the 10 minutes it took me to find this video!!
Excellent job! You would figure the person that threw that out in the trash should have know how to fix especially since he has his own RU-vid channel “The Noah’s Dad - project dude!!……
NOW HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU KEEP IT FROM COMING APART BETWEEN THE DRAWERS...🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨 HOW DO YOU PIN THEM SO THEY DONT COME APART...I DONT NEED OR WANT THEM TO COME APART; COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE ROLLERS ON THE BOTTOM JUST NEED THEM TO SAY TOGETHER... UUUUUUGGGGGHHHHH ITS SO AGGRAVATING WHEN YOU GO TO PICK IT UP TO MOVE IT AN IT FALLS APART... AN THEN HAVE TO PICK EVERYTHING UP THAT SPILLS OUT... RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAA ❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
For me, they just push right into the little holes and seat. Typically if there is something wrong with one of these, i.e. somebody threw it to the curb it is because the hole that the wheel post goes into has cracked or won't hold the wheel. That is why I made this video to show that you just move the drawers around to get an undamaged set of holes for the wheel posts to go in. I am not sure why the wheels you are trying to use won't secure.
OK I need to lower about 1/2" The ridges on the bottom I need to evenly shave off 1/2" to lower the whole unit to fit it in a small space What could I use to shave it down to size Grinder Rasp Shaving plane / to raise up a door when it drags on carpet I'm trying to think up all I could possibly use to shave that plastic off. I need to do it level so that it will sit level.
