Wow! They all look and sound wonderful. I don't know if it would be as good, but hard blue cheeses like Stilton, don't have a risk of listeria, maybe the sauce could be made with that? Can't wait to try it these!!

@@Sarah_Grant Most of well known blue cheeses are made from unpasteurized milk, which may have some type of bacteria in it (Listeria). To make the risk of sickness lower, pregnant women should avoid anything that comes from animal and was not cooked long enough to kill bacteria (like blue cheese, raw meat, fish sushi etc)

@@Sarah_Grant Haha don't have to tell me😅 I'm in my 27th week of pregnancy and the list of thing I should avoid is getting longer. But You know, I guess what you mentioned is only about making good or bad choices. I choose to not eat sushi and I choose not to drink alcohol during pregnancy. For me it's just 9months but for my baby is crucial to grow healthy.

tried the chicken paprikash tonight it was tasty but I found it a bit on the bland side so I added some Lea and Perrins and some red wine tasted much better with these additions will add sliced mushroom next time as well

The blue cheese just has to be made with pasteurized dairy, still plenty of options. I ate blue cheese, feta, Brie and others, just read the labels and stuck to pasteurized cheeses

Macejam Almond milk doesn’t have the same thickness as coconut milk so it would probably be really watery; almond milk is mostly water with a little bit of almond base.

Macejam You could use it and add more thickener (flour or corn starch) but you'd miss out on the coconut flavor.

I like these recipes but I don’t eat dairy. When I did eat dairy I never liked blue cheese. It tastes like feet in my opinion. Ew I know. But I still liked your recipes and I still like your videos

Karla J do they have Tofutti sour kreme in your local stores? It is made from soy. Or you could make cashew kreme in a blender with raw cashews, lemon juice, sea salt and water to consistency.

Soft cheeses can contain listeria bacteria. I was told to stay away from cheeses that aren't pasteurized, and blue cheese is one of those.

Yea but cooking it should kill off any harmful bacteria contained in the blue cheese. So this recipe is actually safe. You can easily look that information up online

lc11214 They can if it's made from pasteurized milk. Soft cheeses often aren't. Otherwise it can contain listeria bacteria which is dangerous for the developing baby.
