Really great infor here! I am focusing more on the 3 systems you mentioned. Also applying it to the C2 rower -another love / hate relationship 😂😂😂😂 but hey if it’s hard for you maybe it’s good! Am loving the non impact cardio! 👊
In regards to conditioning general population clients, would we apply these methods in the order of 3,2,1 pertaining to the way you laid them out in this video? Love your content. Thanks in advance.
Great question! For general fitness I'd go with #3 and the other conditioning methods would be steady-state zone 2 and strongman style endurance (i have videos on this but also have new videos coming). The anaerobic work is a better fit for special cases that need it
Good question! Because it's only 10s rest it would definitely lean heavily on the aerobic system but being only 4:00 total it would rely heavily on anaerobic systems.
Lactic Capacity (Glycolytic Capacity) is the second method. Alactic (I don't use this term as it's a mismomer as there lactate production within 1 second of any and all exercise) would take place in the 15s realm with 90s - 2:00 rest.
Would you alternate these week to week or do one for 3 weeks then switch. Additionally, can these 3 methods help improve running performance as a non impact option?
