Wash hair with lukewarm water, Wear a satin or silk scarf while sleeping, Wash hair with diluted apple cider vinegar for shine, Use liiitleextra coocoonino nourishing shampoo and hair oil. These methods worked for my sister, and she controlled her hair fall with these steps.
Thank you for this video. I used Rosemary oil with Jamaican black castor oil to grow my edges. After about 3 weeks of applying and massaging the areas, my edges are back and strong.
@@brownfruits3498 Hi, yes, I would apply the Rosemary oil with the JBCO every other night before bed. I would sit and massage for about 10 minutes, wrap my hair and put on my satin scarf. Thanks for asking and if you try it, I wish you much success. I’m pleased with my outcome.
@@daveetsitty4642 add them to water or aloe vera juice and a cap full alchol free witch hazel. Add to your shampoo/ conditioner. Or add to your hair oils
Hello! I have read that Cedarwood oil is very good for helping to grow hair. Another oil I have tried is ylang ylang. Some women also say that lemon oil helps, too. Great video. Thank you.
*Almond oil* _is an excellent product if you're looking for one that can strengthen and moisturize your tresses._ Almonds are _packed with vitamins E, proteins, and antioxidants which make them a great option to combat dryness or damage in the hair as well as promote growth._ With almond oil's magnesium content it also _helps reduce breakage of the strands!_
Clove & eucalypus oil, are both good hair stimulators but my favourites are peppermint & rosemary with black castor oil as a carrier which has helped my thinning edges greatly.
For those with kids: use the 3 essential oils she mentioned mixed with water in a spray bottle to mist your child’s hair before school. This mixture repels lice!🎉
@@jessicab331 It's actually those specific oils because bugs don't like the scent :) I've only dealt with lice twice (once myself and once when my kids were in elementary school) but that was ENOUGH!! Super disgusting.
Also Ylang Ylang is specifically for hair growth. I use that a lot in my diy products. Lemongrass as well. When I make my triple whipped mango butter, I use a few drops of both. The fragrance is so soothing.
@@MichelleIjeoma I saw a video about testing out how scents will mix before adding to your diy product. You use strips of paper towels. Lavender is too strong for my taste, but I discover the fragrance was great when mixed with coconut oil.
What has helped me with male pattern baldness is Sulfur 8 Lite warmed up and I add peppermint, rosemary, eucalyptus, tea tree and basil oils to the warmed up sulfur 8 lite grease, I mix with a plastic knife and then let it cool. It gets back to being a solid like paste. 3 times a week I apply this to my crown and temples. I also take MSM and Biotin daily. My bald spot is completely covered over with about an inch of hair, it took 5 months to get hair. I went 3 yrs with a bald crown and male pattern baldness. I found out about sulfur 8, msm, Biotin, and oils on RU-vid. I'm happy I have hair all over my head now
Oh ur skin is poppin 😍 so healthy , thanks for the info , i was lookin for it ! i use the rosmary oil , lavander oil ! and my hair feels a bit more thicker , and my hair seems like a bit more darker !
Great video. I like the scientific mice facts. I personally like mixing Jamaican Castro oil with coconut oil. Today I bought lavender oil and rosemary mint oil I'm really getting into hair masks and oils. I also like putting a few drops of Castro oil on my ends to keep them moisturized to retain my hair length.
I also add lemon grass oil to my regimen. My hair grew back so fast. I suffered from thinning hair and scalp fungus. I was super impressed by the way my hair is growing back.
Thanks much for this! I was confirming that I was going about this the right way. I have thick hair that had grown very long as a child and as soon as I got control of it, I cut it all off. Recently my mother has been asking if I'm not going to let it get long again, so to amuse us, I am. I use rosemary and lavender oil, just as how you've recommended and now...now I remember why I kept it short! Long thick hair is not for the faint of heart or comb. My mother says she wishes she knows then what we're learning now about natural hair care, or she would have never sent us to process our hair so early.
I tried tea tree essential oil because I was not finding the one I wanted. And THANKS GOD. I can tell you, it’s the best I used. And for some reason avoid my hair to matte while Im doing long term protective styles. I will use ir forever🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Was using a mix of Vit E + peppermint oils. Will try some of the other oils mentioned here. Great video and VERY helpful 'Comment' section. Thanks y'all
I'm using lavender oil to fix my patchy beard, mustache, and chin patch. And I'm seing a ton of baby hairs. The oil is a mix of lavender, and sweet almond oil.
I already used pepper mint essentials oil and it's just amazing (I'm going to try to mix it with rosemary oil as well as lavandar oil) btw lavandar oil is amazing as well for treating scarfs and cellulite marks
I use peppermint, lavendar, rosemary in my DIY and boosting store bought products. I have so many oils. I don't want to buy anymore. But I have heard good things about most of the oils mentioned in the comments.
One thing is certain these oils smell fantastic. I regularly use rosemary and peppermint oils. … Has it worked for my hair growth? I’d have to say no. But then I have underlying health issues. The fragrance, however, has a nice calming effect.
Thanks for sharing I stopped using my lavender oil because of the fragrance but now that I know to add it into shampoo,or carrier oil I will start back using it😃
I love essential oils I use essential oils for almost anything from headache, stomachache , knee and legs pain. Even cramps. For my hair is 100% Haitian castor oil, Rice oil, thyme, rosemary, avocado, eucalyptus and lavender oil I use twice a week.
Wild GROWTH HAIR OIL COMBINED w.ROSEMARY & BLACK JAMICAN CASTOR OIL IS MY GO TOO for a DECADE...My are Very very Long..Apply ROSEWATER b4 oil to seal moisture
You should ALWAYS mix essential oils with a carrier oil like olive, coconut, etc., because applying directly without diluting can cause sensitization that can effect your whole body, along with other problems. HTH
Thanks for making this video its very helpful! I was wondering how much carrier oil would i have to use if i wanted to use both rosemary and peppermint oil mixed with it or is that not a good idea to do at all?
Love all three oils! Putting peppermint oil in your body wash is perfect for the summer cause it gives you a cooling sensation. Just don’t rub near your eyes.
I use clove, oregano and ginger essential oils without even diluting them I have never had an issue using them directly on my scalp but they are very strong. I noticed my scalp stopped itching and the hair is no longer falling out like before, haven’t noticed any growth yet but I’ve only been using them for a month so far.
All mixed together in applicator bottle and applied daily… also added to pre-shampoo(prepoo) and deep conditioner: Castor Coconut Olive Almond (sweet) Avocado Peppermint Rosemary Lavender Tea Tree
I found your channel through that lovely Nancy Ndidi, that’s my weekend binge sorted 💃💃💃💃💃p.s. I see the strong family resemblance between you, your brother and your nephew 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I have been using coconut oil mixed with essential oils such as peppermint , eucalyptus and lavender for years. I usually leave this homemade product in my hair after application. However, lately, I have been reading so many articles that state when treating your hair with essential oils you must leave it in for a few minutes and then rinse or shampoo. I never rinsed my essential oils out of my hair. What are your thoughts? I noticed you did not mention rinsing.
My thought is that if it is 100% essential oil you must mix it with a carrier oil to avoid irritation as it is just too potent to be used alone. You don't have to shampoo it off you can just let it absorb and do its work. I personally would not use it without mixing it with a carrier oil. I am too concerned it may burn my scalp and I'll never grow any hair back in that area and I'll have a huge dermatology bill
Hello I'm new to the community trying to go natural my last perm was before pandemic. Thanks so much for this informative video I'm learning so much and I'm a fan😁Your skin is glowing what do you use?

I’m a biotin user it’s not as much effect for the simple fact that it’s a vitamin, and what your body takes in vitamins may just be enough from your meal nutrition (meaning if your body doesn’t need more biotin it’ll excrete it and just become waste) however I will not say biotin and other b complex vitamins aren’t needed, they are a good booster to add on to your hair and nail treatments. oil is specifically to target the follicle and blood flow as well as cancel out bad receptors like DHT, which is crucial to the follicle process something biotin does not do.
Thank you!! 🥰 do you know if it’s ok to mix them? I used to mix like 4 diff essential oils with coconut jbco but I honestly gave up after a few months. So wondering if I should try this combo again or just stick to one? I have androgenic alopecia. I know you said you’re not a doc but just wondering if you (or anyone reading this!) found any info about combining the oils in your research 🙂
I definitely think it's okay to combine different essential oils. I mix peppermint and rosemary oil in my carrier oil. You have to be consistent and PATIENT, it usually takes many months before you see any results! But mixing different ess oils is absolutely a great choice! Hope this helped a bit🙂
@@Iconcela The best oil choice would probably depend on the reason of why your hair doesn't grow or grows very slowly. I saw a lot of people swear by castor oil for example! I tried it but had an allergic reaction to it (horrible rash that lasted for days! But I think it's rare). If you however suffer from androgenetic alopecia, shrinking of hair follicles, you need to look for other alternatives. Here rosemary oil, peppermint oil and lavender oil are said to help to block those DHT hormones that cause the problem. Rosemary and peppermint work similar to minoxidil as far as research proves. Hope this helps you🙂
That’s a great question! I don’t have an answer to that one because the studies didn’t specify. I use pure lavender essential oil. Usually from the NOW brand.
If you get a lavender essential oil it should be the only kind and it should say 100% lavender oil, nothing else added. Anything else mixed with lavender oil means that the lavender oil is basically being used as a fragrance of some sort, not a treatment.
@@Martina..1 yes, marketing can be tricky. I was so excited when I saw a 4 oz bottle of lavender oil and then I got suspicious because of the price. When I looked on the back at ingredients it was not lavender oil by itself. Other ingredients had been added so that is not one hundred percent pure lavender or rosemary oil or whatever essential oil you would like. Essential oils will have only that ingredient on the back and it is in a small bottle like the size of a bottle of nail polish. The instructions will tell you to mix it with a carrier oil unless you're just putting it in a diffuser to add fragrance to your room in which case it is still being mixed with something. Although we can use rosemary in our Foods when planted and pulled from the ground, never use the oils in bottles in food unless it clearly says that it can be used in food. Correction, I mix 5 drops of essential oil to one tablespoon of carrier oil as was mentioned in the video. My research said I could use 5 to 10 drops per tablespoon and I chose to start on the lauriene at first. The way the drops come out sometimes two or three at a time it's never going to be exact but as long as your scalp does not feel irritated and you've diluted it, you should be okay.
@@sable7114 Thanks for the tip. Normally I use E oils when cleaning or in my diffuser and I always try to get 100% pure essential oil. It’s amazing the multiple uses of an essential oil. Coming to think of it, I just realized most of my hair oils are actually a combination of regular oils (grape seed oil, etc) and essential oils (tea tree , etc) 😂😂 I think I’m getting old, lol
Knee pain. Diet no Choc lavender rosemary cedar wood and above the shock absorber not on the pain left side femine left side masculine right side can b geifr anger look.into holistic research on massage and POS see a therapist who's trained with oils massage injury ect
I’m not a fan of it either! I try to use it in treatments that I can wash out of my hair because I can’t stand how it smells as an essential oil. If you really want to use it, try adding a few drops to your shampoo or use it in your pre-treatment.
@@MichelleIjeoma ok thanks. I thought it needed to stay on the scalp for a long time. I’m going to buy different essential oils to mix it with that smell good to hopefully mask the smell
I leave it on my scalp and the older does not linger but if you add the lavender oil that will help it smell a little better. Don't put on too much and rub it into your scalp very well so it absorbs and then you won't smell it as much. Actually I don't smell it at all when I put it on at night an hour or so before bedtime.
