Great video, Blake. I actually figured this out a while back, mainly because watching all of your education has made me not fear going in and playing with the settings in different tools. There was a time when I thought I had the capability to break Photoshop. As always, I appreciate all of the content that you put out. I am very excited for the upcoming release on PE3.

I have been so frustrated by the folders. I found a way to put some gradients I use on top but this video was what I needed. Now I have about 40 gradients on view and that's all I need and I see them lined up the way I want them. Thanks for this one.

Good job Blake! To my eye, grouping in folders is the same visual impairment Adobe has done with ACR. Icons are much quicker to perceive than words, IMO.

Agreed! I love that we can access them from within Photoshop now too instead of having to go into the editor all the time.

Hello Blake, Thank you very much for your amazing videos. I saw maybe all and all are very helpful for my hobby photography. My main aim is astrophotography and nightscapes photos. Sometimes I have a big problem with unwished gradient which should be removed. For example. When I shoot nightscape panorama in place where photos overlap is usualy unwished gradient. Or, when I shoot some deep sky object some part of background is correctly black and some part is lighter because close light pollution source (produce gradient). I have found many videos how to produce gradient i PS. But to find video how to correctly remove unwished gradient is a problem. Maybe it is tip for you.... I wish you all good, Vladimir

Hi Blake, great video! There is some workaround to move the gradient in a Gradient Fill Layer just after you entered to the Gradient Editor?
@f64Academy
@f64Academy 4 года назад
Not really. You have to be in the Gradient Editor to move it. As of right now :) I'm releasing a tool in a few weeks that will make it possible, but traditionally you have to be in the gradient fill editor to be able to move the gradient.
@PS4allReloaded
@PS4allReloaded 4 года назад
@f64 Academy I have this problem: 1) I add a gradient fill layer At this moment I can freely move the gradient 2) I click Gradient to access the Gradient Editor, I click OK in the editor and now I can't move the gradient anymore :( I need to click OK in the Gradient Fill dialog box, then double click the Gradient Fill Layer again in order to be able to move the gradient. I noticed this problem about two or three versions ago :(
@f64Academy

You have to double click the thumbnail of the gradient to get back to the gradient editor.

Have you ever used the RGB Color Channels for Luminosity? If so, do you have a video explaining how to use it?
@f64Academy
@f64Academy 4 года назад
Not really, I find that to be archaic, lol. I know that's a harsh way of putting it but I don't think it's necessary in today's technology.

Blake, constructive criticism. Your skin looks green in your videos. Please don't take it the wrong way.

It looks fine on my computer and on my phone. I don't see any green, maybe I am R/G deficient and I don't know it :)

@@f64Academy ah ok, sorry then. I have a 10bit monitor and it looks greenish, it's not calibrated but every other channel the skin looks fine. Thanks for replying. I loved the video.
