Two police officers and a paramedic were killed while responding to a domestic violence call in Burnsville, Minnesota. Police say while they were negotiating with the shooter, he opened fire. NBC’s Adrienne Broaddus reports for TODAY.

This is a terrible tragedy and yet here it is 20 hours later and they are not identifying who the shooter was. Really makes me wonder about the news and why they are holding back on this information.

What they want is for us to argue about it, even though everybody's killing anybody. They have a protected group, in terms of how immediately they report. Ray Charles can see this from his grave, rest his soul. We can find shooters of every demographic with multiple groups of victims. Everyone should be held to the same standards. As soon as ID information is verified, release it. Stop playing race games. It's sickening.
