I can't stand deliberate poachers. It's one thing to catch an undersize fish and miss measure it, or go over by a handful because you miscounted, but to lie like this and clearly be over their catch limit like this, it should be automatic license suspension and seizure of tools used to fish. Also the guy asking for the camera to be removed can get bent. Public space, get over it. Don't like being front and center of a TV show about poaching, don't poach.

They guy that said he was doing the fish a favor by taking them because they would die is nuts.. Dead fish would feed other fish and sea creatures. It's the way of the sea. What do these people use for brains? Glad they all got fines.

Somebodies got to take care of the sustainability of nzs fisheries or otherwise stocks will get depleted when they exceed there limits do the fisheries department ask how they where caught because I thought you where only allowed to catch fish/snapper with a hand line or rod
