I use a re-shade preset by @Harrie • The Sims 4: ReShade Mo...
( I have made few edits to this preset, I turned off both LiftGammaGain and Colourfulness and I turned on LumaSharpen )

hi SimLicy ,i just wanted to ask how you got to get your shadows to be really defined? In my sims game, the lit area just show a vague area shadow, never defined. Is it a mod or is it something i didn’t know about n the game settings? Please respond, thank you so much. ❤️ the build!

no name lol It depends on the graphics settings and how advanced settings your computer can handle. Go to settings in game to play around with the graphics.

This is beautiful.. Watched a bit longer, and have to ask, “ How can I cram some attic stairs in from the landing?” My Grandmother’s house has the best places in the attic floor for the extra bedroom and stuff. Anybody else remembering that fun place ? You’ve taken me home again with your exceptional talent! 💕

I think they should make a pack called generations where there's new baby stuff and some grandparent type stuff and retirement homes and such. And like everyone else I wish you could do more with the babies.

your sims can build a sandcastle with the basegame sand, and can build a sandcastle pretty much in any sandy area with island living installed; it's awesome being able to make your sims build sandcastles in Oasis Springs!

@@clairedohse3611 unfortunately yes, but you can still make your younger sims play with toys in the sand to create an illusion of it being playable!

I love how you tackle building houses. You don’t just do the walls, then the roof, then the windows, the the decorations etc. you do everything at once and that’s really cool to me!

BookwormMadi sims 3 build mode was so shitty, she’d probably try and rage quit after 10 minutes (and no one would blame her lol). Build mode is the only thing that’s better in the sims 4

@@taylorrhouser Sims 2 and 3 had a bad build mode but the gameplay was fantastic. Sims 4 has a great build mode but lacks in gameplay... 🤓 I think I spot a pattern..

This is literally my favorite kind of build. I use parenthood and country-ish styles in all my builds but I make it way too small and end up hating it so I just download one from the gallery and changing the counters.

Have you thought about renovating Goth's house again but keep the dark style on the outside? Or do a build with only Get famous, Vampires and Vintage glamour Edit: isn't this 3 generations house? Grandparents, parents and children Idk xD

This is the first suburban house I actually like! All the brick and siding colors go so well, as opposed to just having white or blue siding, windows, everything white with a black roof and call it finished.

I would love to see you take on house that is mid renovation, like maybe the kitchen/bedrooms are very updated, but the bathrooms and other living spaces are VERY old and dated.

you could try building an european apartment. If you search for an "altbauwohnung" (its german and basically means "old building") you can find so many cool ideas for apartments or even houses!! hope you like the idea.

for the grandparent’s room you easily could have added chest, my grandparents house always has a chest at the end of the bed that just contains a bunch of blankets

I love this house it reminds me of my house growing up. It wasnt that big but it had a very 80s 90s middle class family vibe. Different from some of your other builds. Perfect for multigenerational. I could even see a single parent and he/she kids living with their parents ( grand parents). Or something. My aunt and her son lived with us for awhile actually. So my parents me my sister and my aunt and her toddler . I could see that gameplay in here too.

.. Yes.. I see that..It’s not uncommon. Has the ring of our times. This house feels so real and familiar. Needs a spinet piano ! I can hear the scales being mangled and the encouragement of the elders. Such a fine house! Thank you, simlicy!

Totally downloading this build tonight. I have a tiny house on this lot in my game that I have been wanting to replace, but couldn't find the right fit. This is perfect! Also I know this neighborhood WAY too well... I'm playing a kind of survivalist/civilization challenge where u started with 7 Sims and have to completely live off the land and build a civilization. My Sims will love having a new house for some fresh blood!

The sandcastles came with Island Living only, or at least I didn't have then until I got Island Living and I got it during Christams, but once you get Island Living every sand you can build Sandcastles on, like in Oasis Springs, in Bridleton Bay, anywhere there is sand. Love the build, I hope to get Discover University soon, but I just got Tiny Living and normally I have to really space out my packs, and wait for the next sale!😁

I really really want a daycare pack or Montessori or something. Where you can be a daycare/Montessori teacher as a career and decorate classrooms. Have lessons, we could use some of the animations that are already there for parenting.

I love your builds for YT, but they are quite hard to play in because the rooms are so small and cluttered that it's difficult to follow the sims around. I always end up extending the rooms. But watching it all on YT is so soothing

i’m pretty sure the sand does work! i know that if you go to the beach in brindleton bay you can build sandcastles

All Sands work for sandcastles (I think - don’t quote me on that) but you need Island Living installed for it to work. You can build sandcastles on the beach area in Brindleton bay, in Oasis springs, Strangerville - Anywhere there is sand!

Great family house! I'm not sure if you appreciate feedback, but... Having had my Mom live with us for long stretches of time, I know that she would have wanted a loveseat and coffee table at the foot of the bed, with a TV in front of that. She didn't always want to hang out with us, imagine that!!

AHHH that teddy bear that you placed in the little girls room at 19:23! Does anyone else remember that thing from the sims 3? It was like a piece of cc with a virus, and if it was in your game it just wouldn’t work, and it would appear sometimes in your launcher from downloading houses from the sims 3 website. Or was this just me?? Idk but omg flashbacks 😳 I had no idea they made it an object in ts4. Thing is cursed

In the Sims 2 they had a coat rack that you could click on and change into or out of outerwear from so the coat rack should be more interactive.
