I’m a Sooner fan, and I gotta say Georgia looks like they’ve picked up from where they left off and are gonna be serious contenders. I hope we meet for the national title this season! Best of luck to yall this season
I'm a Dawg fan, and just watched the highlights from your dismantling of FAU. Very impressive, especially Murray and Anderson. I'll be surprised if you're not in the playoffs with us this year.
I’ve got to be honest I have watch Georgia for years, I’m worried about our run defense. And I have this fear that Samuel Is going to expose our secondary on the side opposite of Baker. Don’t give me wrong I love what I see from the young guys it’s just going to be a tough task especially at South Carolina
Kirby's worst mistake at the time was losing Justin Fields and not starting him enough Fromm didn't have what it took against the big teams like Alabama and LSU
Antbeast23 I don't know if you watched, but our young defense struggled against the run and just gave up a few short passes. USC JR can really put up points if we play like that. Also, Austin Peay is a better team then y'all make em out to be, as they are a favorite to make the FCS playoffs and can have a 10-2-11-1 season.
@@theoriginalname2591 oh I've seen his high school mixtape. It's was awesome. But to do that day one infront of 93k!! Plus considering how great our grad transfer was last year and he comes in and looks like a step up from that. That could be crucial come sec play
Albruey Melton I feel like he’s really overrated, he’s blessed w the surplus of talent around him at every position the only thing he has to do is not turn the ball over
Sum Light yeah it’s gonna be tough for him in the nfl if he doesn’t go to a strong and fast team. But he’s still my favorite Qb since he plays for my dawgs!
I was at this game. despite the heat the crowd was full and load so good to see the fans coming out even for a small school like this. Can't to see wait Dawgnation brings against Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech.
Thats true about Clemson, Ohio state and others. They play super weak teams which make them look really good, then they play alabama, and alabama kills them. They are good, but the SEC is still the best.
I think we have a lot to improve on. We aren’t going to be able to beat Bama with the football team I watched Saturday. I know we didn’t dive into our playbook and we alternated a lot of people. But our O line has to do better and our LBs gotta be tighter. Last year spoiled us. I know.
we played a High school, we didn't use our playbook or try anything fancy, and we played a ton of players who would of never played this year, everything was simple and basic
The secondary will be fine and defensive line imo has come a long ways since Kirby has arrived but if we had to tighten up the screws it would be linebackers. Linebackers played good yesterday but at times were a little sloppy Joe if they tighten the screws around that then I think this d will be right up par with last yr. It feels different not having Roquan, Lorenzo, Devin, or Dominick around this yr on D. UGA's offense was on 🔥🔥🔥
I agree but linebackers need to step up and Monty Rice can't do it all himself. They'll get better as the season rolls around. Offensive Line played amazing and might be the best ones I've ever seen at UGA. UGA blocked very well on all the perimeters, and in the running backs got in and did their part and got out like they did. Tight Ends look a lot more comfortable than a yr ago I thought and we didn't work with that much a yr ago but Nauta will be a force and live up to its hype from when he came out of IMG Academy. I questioned that Jared cook hit but I said to myself let em play football screw targeting either way it was a penalty but I didn't mind the hit.
@@ThaMVP7330 you're right, I've been high on Isaac Nauta since he committed to Georgia, I just wished he had been used more. When the defense starts clicking, it will be tough for their opponents. The hit cook made on the punt returner, I think they would've called targeting even if he didn't lower his helmet because of how hard the hit was
Defensive coordinators are going to be losing sleep trying to scheme against Fields with Swift and Cook in a 2 back set, along with Hardman and DRob as wideouts. Not to mention our monster O-line. It's going to be a great season!
So you'll be glad of the day young men DON'T get the opportunity to play in a big beautiful D1 college stadium against potential future NFL players? The same young men who relish in the idea and experience of playing against such an opponent. You'll be glad of the day smaller schools don't get large checks to help their programs? Pretty sure the smaller schools would disagree with you 100%.
Georgia clearly isn't playing the best of the best, but you can definitely notice these Dawgs gained a lot of confidence/experience from last year's Championship. You can tell how hungry they are by their 2nd chance efforts the break tackles moving the chains. All takes is a little stinch and my Dawgs are on it. LET'S MAKE THEM #WORKFORIT #DawgShit 😈
I don’t know what Georgia team u watched but y’all not Bama with that young defense u struggle against the run with that bs school usc running a hurry up offense and they have 3 good running backs and fast wr believe u will be tested and it’s at usc home stop fronting dude
Denny Beatty I would hate trying to tackle his ass in the open field..id just act like I got a cramp a lay down on the grass and be like damn cramp made me miss him lol
Only thing about this game I was upset about was Cook’s ejection keeping him out for first half against Carolina. Freshman mistake there need his legs early but we’re obviously still deep
I think or offense this year will be one of the most effective and efficient in all of college football with crazy athletes at rb, wr, and qb. Also with a core of returning linemen minus one. But with that being said I think the defense will struggle come time to play in the sec and other major opponents. With loosing 7 defense players. Raquan being the most valued and missed I think we will have trouble with stopping the run and pass vs teams with bigger linemen. I find it really disturbing that we didn’t get a single sack vs Austin peay. But nonetheless I think we will still be a top contender due to our offense. GO DAWGS!!
We didn't really blitz much and the defense looked more concerned with stopping the run. Going into the USC game, we came be giving away too many of our rushing schemes.
Kyle Funderburk I’m not doubting his defensive genius and it’s certain he didn’t show everything we had on defense but vs a small offensive line like Austin peay we should’ve gotten at least 1-2 sacks. They dropped back to pass 21 times. I just personally think we might struggle with getting pressure on the qbs this year due to losing so many defensive stars.
+Ernbob roquan was balling by year 2 , so im expecting a lot of guys to play better after two or three years with us. I don't expect these guys to be roquan by any means lol but they have to be more physical.
P4F Ace i bet Clemson will lose to some chump team just like last year. Clemson and Ohio state are always ranked super high every year. Most overrated teams if you ask me.
Who cares where they are....especially at this point in the season. Who cares where we are. I could give a rats ass if we are #25 right now.....or even unranked. The ranking doesn't matter, what matters is each and every game. And what matters now....is South Carolina. Everything will work itself out if we do our job each and every week.
Way to go HaydenYT! Tyson Campbell has really taken the coaching very well. His technique and his transitions are very fluid, which with his speed/length make him potentially scary good. He will have an early chance to raise his profile even more next week against the Gamecocks because he will be tested.
9 times out of 10 he will. That 1 time will literally be because no one can get footage to throw together and even then he’ll probably come through haha
@@Shane-iu6iz Really? Interesting, I feel like he runs between the tackles very well and is tough to bring down. He seems to drag defenders 5 yards in most of his highlights.
