He was very patient and detailed in the video. I agree the caulking could have done better.. but overall he is better than other plumbers.. he will get my job
I installed that same valve a few days ago, I liked it, I thought they couldn’t have nothing but the generic Chinese valves because of the anti scald valve law, I picked it up at Lowe’s, I wasn’t expecting it to be a Moen
You should have put a block of wood in between the wall and the tap knob, and then you could have levered it of off with a screwdriver. It would have saved any damage to the knob with those pliers.

That old 3 handle Price Pfister tub faucet you took out could've probably been rebuilt with new stems and seats. Still rebuild quite a few of them to this day and never had a problem doing it. Might have even been able to salvage the trim if you didn't go full caveman on the hot handle. Moen is a fairly good brand to replace it with, but you made it sound like you were taking out a 3 handle Moen faucet in your video headline.
I could have rebuilt that old faucet. Used a handle puller to get the handle off. Kingston Brass has the same exact faucet to replace with or just rob the stems handles sleeves and escutcheons and install them and leave the old faucet rough in valve intact.
Ok, job for DIY, try not banging the fittings on, should slide on smoothly! You really should make sure it's level! It's leaning forward !You might want to clean the surface from existing caulk and then reply. Otherwise, if the customer is happy so be it ..

My second time working on stems yes I didn’t pack that handle out. When I threaded it back in the stand was too far and it broke the back of the valve. I know all about that stuff. Customer wants to pay you for a brand new valve should’ve put in a single handle valve and a much more better looking dumb but that’s just me.
Wouldn’t the seals in the manifold be damaged from the heat of that torch? Suggest a wet towel be placed to lessen the impact. Or, better yet, solder first with the fittings removed.
Why take out the Price Pfister value when you can just go with the same value ? In my opinion the value that was there is better then the one being instill now
@@UncleHo5 It Is illegal because you do not have an anti-scalding device or a mixing valve to regulate the temperature before you enter the shower or tub.

This guy don't know why he's doing You're supposed to have a pulley for those handles so that way you won't ruin the way he's doing Don't follow that it's not the right way to do pull those handles out
If you would have loosened the trim and used that to push the handle off, I have done this dozens of times. It would have saved a handle in the process. No sense being a barbarian and destroying things.
Buy a puller if you’re going to do this kind of work, have right tools so you don’t look like a moron. ….or, another option is to hire a competent plumber. 🤨😏🤭🤷♂️

This guy is not a good maintenance person. Probably dropped the fixture because I have never in 30 years saw a fixture with bent orifices like that. Unless it was abused in some way, and judging from the way he disassembled the existing one is probably how the new one got damaged!
Está muy pendejo para hacer plomeria, tuvo que poner 2 tees para las ventilas para que no agarre aire la tubería, cambiarla igual está muy fácil pero si van a hacer un trabajo deben de hacer un trabajo bien con sus ventilas
