Hello. Who knows what the gray antenna is for, which is located below the Wi-Fi module. I've looked through a bunch of articles and I don't have an answer anywhere. Maybe someone knows?
Hi. I just installed a msata toTF Card reader and snapped in a TF Sandisk 16 gig formatted and with files on it. Windows 10 is not showing the drive. Do I need to reinstall windows to get it to recognize the Drive. Thanks.
Hi. I installed a Msata to TF card reader in WWAN slot. Fits good, pops up and down good like ram does. I can't get Bios or Windows 10 to find it. I even done I new install of Windows 10. Any advice? Thanks. Btw I had a TF card formatted with files on it in reader all the time.
Technic is all right, music is annoying. The way to install the 1TB Seagate Hard Disk is unreliable, You can not rely on 2 pieces of folding paper to hold the 1TB hard disk in position.
Hi, I installed the msata in the wwan slot, it is recognized in the places you showed, it is showing up in the device manager but it's not shown in Windows Explorer. Do I need to do something else?
If you KEEP the adapter that he took apart, you can swap the HDD/SSD drive with the DVD drive at any time. I use mine as a hot-swap for backup drives and just more storage. No offense to Tech InfoMania, but mounting the 3rd HDD with paper wedges is really unprofessional and leaves a big hole in the side of the laptop for dirt to get in. and a solid smack to the side could dislodge the HDD. The adapter has a locking tab that keeps it in place and makes it easy to remove if you want to use your DVD drive to watch movies or for software and a nice bezel that gives a clean overall look. Because people DO still use disk drives. Not often for work or gaming but laptops are still used often to watch movies and believe it or not, many people still have libraries of DVDs they have owned already and still use. I understand that Tech InfoMania no longer needs the disk drive but it can be kept. However you do have to swap the disk drive out to use the HDD and vice versa. This is why I use my adapter for making backups and for additional removable storage.
Hi sir, i have a question. My computer is dell e6540. HDD 500GB. I have attached the ssd to the wwan port. And nơ, my computer does not recognize the hard drive HDD, so it cannot enter Windows, you know how to fix it
Tech InfoMania thanks sir reply. Ssd plugged in wwan network port, now I have installed windows to run fine. But the hdd drive it doesn't accept anymore, so what's wrong or the drive's faulty?
Apart from the stupid music you, sir, are a legend. Mine just died, in Oct 2020, and I couldn't find the SSD.... However, jimmying in that 2nd HDD. You cowboy...
@@techinfomania598 Thank you very much! I have DELL Latitude E6540. I want to install dual boot for two Windows 10, one will install at Primary Hard Drive, and the other one at MiniCard SSD Device. I will use BIO screen to select which OS to boot. Will this work? or did you try this yourself? Thanks again.
I have tried installing win xp in primary and win 7 in secondary HDD, and yes laptop always ask option of which windows you like to boot but we have to turn ON the counting option from windows setting from OS the one which is on Primary HDD, so every time it will wait for 30seconds on counting black screen showing 2 options of OS win xp and win 7.
