Hi guys! There is an audio bug from 42:17 to 1:38:20. I’m very sorry about this. The video should be watchable even with the bug. I have also made chapters so you can easily skip it. This video is shot over the course of 3 days and it has taken FOREVER to edit. There has been all sorts of issues with it and I’ve decided to let it be and focus on improving the next video instead, since I could have literally made 3 other videos in the time it has taken me to do this one. I hope you can bear with me. Also now that I have your attention I would like to ask if you mind when I advertise my patreon in the videos? I can see how it could be annoying, particularly if you don’t have the money for such a thing or just don’t feel like being a patron is something for you. As you may know I am trying to make RU-vid my literal job and that is why I sometimes advertise the patreon, but if it ruins the experience for you then I should find another way. Not a problem because you're not pushy or judgmental if someone doesn't sub. I think it's totally okay to mention it like you're doing now, same goes for when you advertise different chess sets you have a promo code with, etc. All part of the game and any reasonable person will recognize it as such.
@@ASMRChessyou already did it few months ago. I think it was quite even. Concerning me, I would say that if it was only ASMR I probably wouldn’t be following every video like I do since 2 years. So i would choose chess but it is close. Like 60/40.
I don't know if I could pick a side. What I love about this channel is that the videos are high quality ASMR soundscapes but the awesome chess analysis and storytelling make for actually compelling and engaging content that can hold my attention unlike the substanceless sound-making that is most ASMR channels.

I’m very happy you like the videos so much. The reason I don’t make more of the super long videos is simply that it takes forever to do. Particularly the editing takes many days.

Is it posable for you to stack the captured pieces along each side of the board? Just a suggestion. It'd be nice to see the visual. Thanks for your videos. I like the ChessUp ones best.
At the first game, a cool trick that might work against a beginner. on your 2nd move play F3, hope they capture the pawn at G2. Then slide your Rook over to G1, Queen has to go to H3. Then you can do legendary Bishop sacrifice at F7 (as you say, Always look for the opportunity to sacrifice it) You lure the king out straight into a fork on G5 with your knight!! Instant resignation, and it feels lovely

This is just my personal preference but dude if your channel was 100% only you playing online games on the Chess up board i would tune in every time and be completely okay with it. Edit: did u just play 1.e4? Who are you?
So have a question. At 56:20, could you have taken the bishop with the queen, then started to move the two center pawns up to pressure the knights and clear the diagonal for the queen to king? Or would I have just given my opponent an out and messed things up for myself?
Yeah I guess I see it. If you don’t take the bishop with the pawn first, giving your king a way out. They can move the rook to check which you can block but then it just messes things up.
Yes as you point out in your other comment the problem is the rook check. It would cost me at least a piece because I have no good way to block it. That is why my king really need an escapesquare in that position.

Eric showed a pretty fun line against the old benoni in a video a few years ago, you take on c5 and when they play e6 you play Nc3 with the idea Ne4, after I learned that I didnt have to fear or dislike the benoni, no, the benoni players dislike me😂
17:34, when you were saying it was weird he didn’t capture the bishop, unless I’m missing something if rook did capture bishop, then queen can take the other rook and give a check😊
At 34 minutes didn't rook takes knight on d4 work? Deflects the queen from guarding the bishop so win 2 pieces for the rook and control the dark squares

How are you liking the ChessUP board? I'm thinking of getting one. Been looking at unboxing and reviews but i never saw anyone showing the on/off and usb port nor did anyone talk about the overall quality of the board.
