Playing now for my dad 93 visiting his beloved wife 89 in the hospital. Now she is resting well with this music on. Her career was a classical soprano his a classical composer both at New England conservatory. Very generous of you to offer this collection. It’s nice to see her rest peacefully. There is a mistake. The Variations on "Folia de España" by Manuel Maria Ponce starts at 2:29:10. Before that, at 2:21:37 is still the second part of Bach's Chaconne

I am 20 and it took being forced for 2 years to listen to the classical station on the radio at the music store I work at to realize that I like classical music and that I appreciate the "shredding" they do on the guitar and violin pieces. Man, and I thought rock and roll was the shred god of music.

It’s pretty much only most of the music of nowadays I can’t stand. No real musicianship behind it. Samples from stuff I heard from the 60’s thru the 90’s. Not a whole lot after that. Gimme good music of almost any genre. That’s good music mind you. Like this as a truly great example.

I've put this on in the background many many times while reading, doing chores, cleaning, etc., but the applause at the end of Leyenda always breaks my immersion; the sudden change in sound often times takes me out of my task and I instinctively jerk my head toward the sudden and strange sound of applause.

You can transcribe violin music to classical guitar. Before things were completely understood, classic guitar players often used violin sheet music.
