I’ve tried this and while it’s good, it’s starchy. It also took forever for my milk to boil(I cook a lot of food when I do cook though). My favorite way so far is to just cover the noodles with water, boil, drain, cover with condensed milk, cook till thickened, add cheese and salt and it’s amazing.

im such a failure i messed it up- he said milk its heavy whipping cream for some reason i thought he said put the noodles in with the milk while its heating up now all i can taste is gross hard noodles that stick to ur teeth and lots of milk

Make sure your cheese isn’t already pre shredded or cut because they put a powder on the cheese to stop it from sticking to the other shreds and pieces. Shred your own cheese for the love of god. If you don’t then the cheese won’t stick right to the pasta and won’t become a good amazing melty cheesy sauce it will just kind of melt like plastic on your noodles and that’s just sad

Tried this at 2am in the morning and omg it’s absolutely delicious. The type of cheese you use really plays a role. I used mature cheddar. And it really makes a difference. I also added some chilli flakes cause I’m Indian 🇮🇳 💀 but overall love thisss
@AlphaDog if you know how to add seasoning the bad smell and taste will go away. Infact just some oregano and cinnamon is enough to fix that. You just haven't tried lol.
This recipe actually looks alright. If you want a nicer Mac and cheese, although this recipe is more complicated and time consuming. Boil a pot of water and put the pasta in. Let it cook there for a couple of minutes and then remove it. Put a lid on and it will continue cooking. Add a small chunk of butter and about the same amount in flour to a separate pan. Let it cook for a minute or two so it doesn’t taste like raw flour. Add about half a teaspoon of mustard powder and mix it in. You should now have a thick paste. Slowly pour in a bit of milk and mix. Repeat this a few times. Add pepper. Add your preferred amount of cheese. Let it mix in. Add the pasta. You now have max and cheese. If you want, you can put it in a baking dish, add some breadcrumbs on top and bake it for a bit for a bit of extra crunch.
My aunt does this but with different cheeses then after she cooks it she puts it in a pan and puts bare cheese on the top and puts it in the oven till the cheese on the top goes crispy it’s sooooooo good
