1 thing that helped me trade. Be quicker to take your losses than profits. I would always pullout before I hit my target but I would stay in after it hit my stop. When it's going up you tend to think it will go down. And when it goes down you tend to think itl go up.

@@ryuxfx52 I do. It’s something I do on the side and at a small level. There are clearly a lot of strategies out there, and always someone who can see the opposite side. If I’ve learned anything it’s to be patient, remain humble, and enter/exit wisely without fear or greed.
After getting cocky and blowing my futures account, here I am back to the basics... I know i have it in me to be a profitable trade, as I was. But I got cocky and traded WAY too large of positions blowing my account in one day due to 1 bad day mixed with revenge/emotional trading. All i gotta do is listen to you bro, objective trading and proper risk management. like I was. It hurts man, it really hurts but I will grow my account back. No more trying to gamble with my account anymore going forward
I have to thank you. I just started trading in February. From watching your videos today 4/23/21. I predicted the chart on OCGN exactly from 10 up to 13 (got out a little to early) jumped back in at 11.30 and were on our way back up again. Maybe .lol. stop loss at 10.50. Thanks again bro. Just pulled off another 5 wick rejection ..4.98 : 1 risk reward. The best feeling seeing the red candles appear and drop one after another. I can say that with my experience using thus strategy so far one can definitely become a consistently very profitable trader. If only it came about more frequently.
The second down trend pullback: it was lost because you didn’t include the wick of the previous support candlesticks. If you’ve included the wick, that candlestick is a fake break out. And the candlestick that you were assuming was a breakout wasn’t even a good breakout cause of the wick ( it’s a long wick ) showing the strength of the buyers.

I love getting golden nuggets from videos when said nugget isn’t really what the video is about! The 1.4 to 1 RR. I’ve always used 2 to 1 and I have most certainly noticed over time, that 1.4ish would be more profitable; most of my entries are on the 5 or 15 min chart.

I didn't understand this myself. Some research tells me that you are "Short Selling" which means that you sell to begin with only to buy back later at a lower price. The trick is that if you dont have any shares to begin with then you borrow from a broker - that is "margin trading".
Google stop-loss, why you set it up but also why this can make you lose some trades. His aim was to buy at a lower level but in case the market reacts contrary to his speculation he had an automated buy order placed in case the price reaches a certain level - assuming the market would potentially rise the price even higher if this level is reached. In this case his stop-loss was triggered and he bought for the higher price but the market went down right after - the trade was not profitable.

All the same stuff happens in all markets, it will happen in crypto a bit quicker, but it will happen. The big one for me is risk management!!! Good luck with your trading.
Wow, this is great content. I notice those shallow pullbacks a lot of times but never thought there would be a way for me to consistently trade them. I will definitely be backtesting these strategies this week.

Hey mate. I was just like you. I watched all the videos in his channel and learned the different strategies. I thought I was ready, but when I started, I lost money. It was painful. Trading is more than watching some videos. You will know when you start.
@@marouennaceurnaceur4733 i did not. I thought I was ready by just watching the videos and that I did not need to backtest the strategies but it was a mistake. Now I am backtesting and seeing what works for me. I guess it will take some time but it is fine as long as it is the path to profitability.
My problem was trading too soon without strict strategy and risk management. Another factor which destroyed me was emotions. I think losing money in the market will give you experience somehow and make you realize that trading is more difficult than how some people show it and there is more that goes into it.
I keep coming back to your videos. Great work here. I have been trying to identify the entry points on these pullbacks myself. If I was smarter I would take you course ! Thankyou

I know now how to take pullback trades, but tell me this when should you take breakout trades?? Only on shallow pull backs, and triangle or range breakouts or what, what I'm asking is would you take breakouts instead of pullbacks at certain times or never be a breakout trader?
Vey useful and I agree that SHORTS are very quick and Pullbacks are simply one of the easiest and best ways to make money in any financial market. How, Let people enjoy sudden and news based longs and they buy from higher and higher prices and start making shorts from highers incresing the position till longs gets tired and wait for panic quick shorts and start longs from down and down. In the openings with midnight news encouaring excess longs and comes stong pull back usually, let longs go with golden cross high 8EMA, 20EMA and 50 EMA witih 5 Min time frames, as much as these EMAs seperatated too much, start partially shorts and make a good average shorts and wai for golden cross down of the EMAs and when they seperates too much from each other, starts to close your shorts by longs partly by partly ... Excess prices need to make pull back and it is mostly very quick and in panic, if you have shorted at very highs, making longs from downs may close in benefit daily. 200 pips high and come back to 100 pips pullback, drops you %1 ( future contract for local money vs dollar in developing counrty, 5.000 USD allocated to open 50.000 USD position, %1 is 500 USD is profit 1-2 times a week.
Thanks Steve, please can we apply this to multiple time frames? That's regarding the shallow pull backs. What I mean is making the body of the last swing on a higher timeframe (1D) and looking for a close of candle on our intra day timeframe (1HR, 4HR, 8HR..)? Thanks in anticipation.

I think instead of looking for patterns, the goal should be " if I'm buying, are there anymore sellers left to stop me" and " if I'm selling, are there any buyers to stop me" The way to test that, if the candles move to a point that should be strong for buyers and they do not respond... wait til their strength exhausts then sell. Vice versa for buyers.
Have you ever ever gone into a trade and actually just looked as it progressed and you're feeling that the price is near your take profit but won't actually make it as say other indicators are against it and decide to close position before the profit turns into an actual loss? Lol. It's a beginner thing I know. Just wondering if a seasoned trader would sometimes do it. Or just wait it out and take the loss so you don't screw up psychologically? Hope this gets answered. in my years of trading, the main struggle I faced is determining a valid pull back.. I used fibonacci levels like 38% 50% 61.8% etc.. but still ended up missing a big move up or down and so I tried to tweak and change strategies after strategies. Now, this just got posted a few hours ago and I'm loving it. Now I can add this to my trading arsenal to catch those moves that I previously missed when I dont have an idea why is this and that.
