The comparator facing the other comparator reads how many items are in the container block, that sends a 0-15 redstone signal to the side of the comparator that's connected to to the daylight sensor. Daylight sensors send out a 0-15 sign depending on time of day. The comparator connected to the day sensor reads both the day sensor and the side comparator and compares wether the side signal is even or lower that the day sensor if it is it let's the signal through
@@trevorlayton9425true but does he really put any item to read by side comparator? If not then it does not control the other comparator and is simply useless in my pov.
Well, Redstone on Bedrock is literally so complicated and unreliable, so I think he refers to Bedrock Redstone, which works fundamentally different compared to Java Redstone.
@@CZghost I have played both versions a good amount and redstone is still pretty common on bedrock, while it is fundementally different from java (and worse) it still has its uses and i see it frequently used on a lot of survival servers, even the generic simple 1x2 door is still redstone and is pretty common
Really people don’t know how to use Redstone I thought it was the most used thing in Minecraft I thought that thing literally was Minecraft it was all about Redstone
Redstone *is* simple though. It's just that people don't want to take the time to learn it, and then they'll complain loudly when a tutorial they found doesn't work because they don't know how to diagnose what's wrong
I think redstone should somehow have a much lower skill floor. Granted that's not an easy thing to do without overcomplicating one block for the sake of replacing contraptions for components.
@aRandomPerson... On a circuit level, yes the floor is pretty low. But what I mean is on a contraption level. Just bump down the skills necessary for making a basic contraption down a notch or two lower than it already is, just enough to stop this "redstone is too complicated" idea by most players.
I mean I guess it is good that you aren't taking other people's designs and trying to pass them off as your own, and that is ultimately better than showing redstone uncredited, but it would have been nice if you actually showed the redstone for the first 2 or actually put the items in the dropper in the 3rd one.
Not quite sure, why he used a comparator to read an empty dropper, which would Output a Signal strength of 0, and another comparator to compare the Signal strength of the daylight sensor, which should be somewhere up to 15 depending on the Time of day So... It's useless lol
the trash can is a useless redstone contraption just get a bucket of lava then throw it all in there fire also works and so as tnt the elytra launcher is the only contraption you showed that is actually useful
Uhhh first off redstone isnt complicated, you just have to learn it and second of all of the shown contraptions are very over complicated and by all means use too many blocks, please just leave it to people who know what they are doing
Each individual redstone component has a simple function, and if you know what those functions are, then redstone becomes much easier to understand. It's less complicated than you would think.
No way you actually "tried" to copy that one sistem that will tell you when you CAN sleep and build it COMPLETELY wrong, didn't put the good amount of items in the dropper, uses 2 COMPARATORS while the real needed is only 0 (Puttin the daylight sensor in night mode touching the redstone lamp)...
Your contraptions are as bad as the bedrock platform you play on, like, why did you even need the dropper on the bedtime timer? You never filled it with anything
@@fr0g3man350 i don’t know most ppl were here a year ago and ive gotten notifications from a response to something way longer than 7 months. why im here? i don’t know rly i just have extra delay
@@LunchBoxer again, you might think that because you're part of a section of the community that takes the game more seriously than most. 99% of people out there have no use for redstone. literally. they dont care about farms or doors or whatever
Good video but red stone is literally the most used mechanic in the game so that is where u are wrong Edit: I've started yet another argument in the comments 💀
@@kandesbunzler5620 anyone who wants to make an automatic door, even if it's just a 2x1/1x2, even a pressure plate is considered redstone and literally everyone uses that for opening a wooden door instantly and for self closing purposes also hidden bases uses redstone A LOT, so no, it's very much used by everyone, it's just the range in difficulty is different, from the plates and doors to literally 3-D printing with colored concrete and command blocks
that's smart but hopper locking is one of my most hated features of the game not because i accidentally lock them, but it never shows correctly on the F3 screen which leads to me spending 30 minutes scratching my head
Redstone is one of the most used mechanics with a giant comunity around it. Additionally: - Use a trapped chest instead if a chest for the trash can, so you can pick up things you throw accidentally - The elytra launcher only worked on bedrock edition for a while as it uses a bug and it was removed already - There are easier ways to use the daylight detector to make an alarm
excuse me what did you say ? redstone is literaly the most useful thing in all of minecraft you can do anything with it there is even a glitch where you can duplicate carpets which means infinity fuel op.
This comment is making me want to make a system where it stays in the chest until you press a button, then it empties into lava (or cactus). Also, the trapped chest idea that someone mentioned is really smart and cool. I genuinely forget that the trapped chest exists.
"Redstone is one of the least used mechanics since its difficult to understand" Me: *Searches youtube tutorial for literally anything that needs redstone*
3 items, only 1 redstone dust needed: Cactus - deletes any item from the world, Trident - Riptide Enchant launches you from water, Clock - A FUCKING CLOCK!
Bedtime alarm if you’re outside, just use your eyes and if you’re in a cave, it’s even better to go out mining at night, considering there will be less mobs spawning in the caves and more outside
similar with me, I'm building a whole 8-bit CPU on bedrock, and I'm not joking when I say it's hella easy to understand. Ok except for one component which took me very long to figure out how to build, but the rest of it couldn't ever be easier to understand (in my opinion at least)
Says: "Redstone is one of the least used things in minecraft because it is so complicated" Mumbo Jumbo: "It's actually quite simple" Creates Reality in .1 seconds.
@@zealotoffire3833 mumbo has quite the versatile knowledge of useful survival redstone, he's not on the forefront of massive discoveries but he learns very quick and is good at explaining how it works, and of course, slightly unconventional and silly redstone, i'm pretty sure he himself has stated all the logical stuff like with redstone pc's is what he's most weak at.
I wonder how it works But obviously it's some of bedrock's glitch again. Bedrock got quite few cool glitches i seen That reminded me of the one i seen once Just can't find it anymore it waa sliding under fence you could basically fly
how to make an easier trash bin Materials: 1 Lava bucket, 1 wooden gate Dig 2 blocks in the ground, then place lava at the bottom of it, on top of that add a gate, make sure the gate is opened, done
