Wow, that Nepo - Abasov analysis gave me my first tiny view of what must be going on inside the head of a super GM. To be able to do that depth of calculation and keep all of those lines straight is truly astounding.
In your first example, I think Caruana had 9:30 minutes or so left on his clock at move 31. Always play simply and cleanly in the endgame, even under pressure!
Great games, and it's interesting that even grandmasters fall into the trap of thinking "Oh Bh7 attacks the rook, must be a good move" once in a while. I have lost plenty of games like that
