Great breakdown… had a lot of trouble losing my thumb and forefinger’s purchase of the grip in my finish. Concentrating on the squeeze between the two really helped along with the pen drill. Will have to buy you a beer if I ever see you for this one 😂

It's crazy what the grip can do for your game. I struggled to push myself to change my grip. First time I tried, things were going every which direction, so I would revert back to what I was used to. This year I forced myself to change it, started out at the driving range. And within a short period of time, things seemed to come together- slice was gone, more distance, pure contact. Now hopefully this last through the season lol.

Hi Adam...any drills you'd recommend to help soften grip pressure throughout the swing? I having trouble controlling the pressure of my death grip!

I'd first check that your left hand grip (I have videos on this at the channel) is in the fingers enough. After that feel some pressure in the fingers but soft pliable wrists. Hope this helps Best, Adam

Both hands have their importance when placing them on the handle ADAM is right with his pen drill What’s important is to keep your hand soft As an alternative I would suggest swinging with the « fork « grip , forming a « V « with the index and the medium finger and holding the shaft inside the « V » Swing this way and you will find out you whip the club better

Was just practicing with a pen and thinking ‘this is nonsense… it doesn’t feel right at all’. Then realised I was using my wrong hand 🤦‍♂️ Switched hands and you really get that feel. Great little tip, Adam. Thank you.
