Hey guys, today I would like to present to you 3 Lessons by great documentary photographer Garry Winogrand. Garry was an American photographer from New York active in 60` and 70`. His drive and motivation for documenting life was out of this world. Photographic style of Garry is truly present in modern day Street photography more than ever, but slowly being replaced by aesthetic visuals. Hopefully your photography will be refreshed by Garry`s humor, capability of seeing and his joy for creation.

I believe all of Winogrand's film had now been developed and archived. There are no undeveloped rolls anymore.

In my young days I did street photography, but only shot c. 6k images. Should have shot more, per Winogrand's advice. Should have kept going, but life presented other options.

Gary once wrote an essay where he said that if one wanted to be a street photographer, it would be best if they were first Jewish!

Well he himself didn't like to be called that way, and me personally I don't believe that you have to be born something to be creative or artist... Sorry this I would find disturbing for sure, he was joking a lot maybe this was one of bad ones.

Good topic but in my opinion you should have lowered the background music, it's too loud and doesn't help understanding what you are saying. But apart from that, great video!

Hey I checked and for now I can't replace the image without taking down the video, sorry for that, anyway pictures in this video are basically illustration for an inspiration, the lessons are THE point, I will pay more attention in future, thank you again my friend.

Great, interesting video but your voice contrasts too much with the music in the background. Your voice is soft and calm while the music is harsh and noisy... that's why even when the music is not too loud often seems to cover your voice making it difficult to hear what you are saying.
