It has been doing great. Ours has not fallen out even one time. We did have to use 2 of the 3 spacers it came with to make it tight. If that does not help let us know and maybe we can do an update video. Thanks for watching
The only instruction addition I would add would be to measure the door frame (not the screen door to get the correct sizes!) you can also see the size by looking at sticker on the screen door!
Clever mods to help with the screen door but what about the screen door attachment or causing a problem not allowing the outer door to close? I have a new replacement screen door by Lippert for my forest river Hemisphere hyperlite 29rlshl. Previous door wasn't working so I ordered another one but when I set it in place, the screen door sets back where it should by the latch but not by the hinges. It sticks further out and doesn't let the outer door to close. I don't want to leave the screen door off. The outer door fits fine without the screen door. I really miss the screen any suggestions?
Unfortunately we don’t have a suggestion. We have never really had an issue with that. If you shut just the screen door by itself can you see what is holding it up?
Update, we got our screen door installed this past week but we noticed that clip that goes on the outside door inside to let the screen door attach when opening or closing keeps the outside door attached. When we go to unlock the outer door we can't get it unlatched unless someone is inside to open the screen. So are we installing something wrong or doing something wrong? We want be able to open both doors and keep open at times but be able to pull the outer door in together or separately when using it.
Great info, but if you built panels for a living, you just cost 2 minutes in assembly time. On a large panel, you just lost money. Otherwise a very good video.
