Every look was beautiful Katelyn!!! Ive never tried Clionadh either and i cant wait to dig into these! They showed up with so many other new palettes i ordered at the same time! 😂 But upon first glance i was extremely attracted to the Oceano, but I agree, Paleo seems the most cohesive and easist to create a look with. Im so glad the pans are removeable so i can rearrange to my liking. I hope they bring us more palettes in the future but id love to see them include a couple of extra special multichromes in their palettes like some of the stained glass ones. Especially since they are priced so high. Other than that, i swatched one so far and its stunning. Now i need to put it on my eyes! 😂😂😂 Cant wait to see your monthly review on this collection! ❤❤❤ Would love to see a fashion or hair video! That would be fun and interesting! ❤❤❤
Oceano is the one that spoke to me the most so it was helpful to hear your thoughts that it may not be the most cohesive as a palette. I love all the looks!
@@alittlebitofgoldglitter3935 I did a look with oceano the other day that was my absolute favorite so I feel less confused by the color story now! It’s still a tricky one though lol
These are beautiful and I love all the looks. I picked up all 3 and have really been enjoying them; side note, Oceano throws me off too! I don’t have a lot from the brand because I find singles overwhelming too but every now and then they will release pre curated bundles and I love that. I snagged one last spooky season and they don’t disappoint. ❤
I had the original Paleo and the mattes were horrible, I sold the palette and do not regret it. The new ones look nice, but I passed on these. Cliondah single stain glass singles are probably the best out there, Shine by SD are pretty unique also. I buy a lot of single eyeshadows and use them more than palettes lately. Sidney Grace, Copecetic Cosmetics, Divenah, Terramoons, Shine by SD, and Dandylion co are my favorite brands for single eyeshadows. I depot a lot of palettes and create my own colorstories and when I do that I actually use all the shades. I just bought 18 single eyeshadows from the Christmas in July sale from Sidney Grace, I think their matte formula might be the best out there.
Terra Moons, the owner harasses and doxxes customers. I will never buy from them again. The owner made up a lie about a customer to her job and tried to get her fired, then started harassing the customers employer.
@@bansheemuse4794 I’ve only used Sydney grace’s palettes but I do agree the matte formula is so nice! I want to get into singles but can’t find the energy to pick where to start lol
Really pretty looks! 👁🤩 I didn't pick up these palettes but they are lovely. I have a bunch of single Clionadh shadows that are wonderful and I made the effort to use them more this summer instead of ordering the new palettes. It helped me to watch swatching/comparison videos from badtothebrow and seekingshifts to narrow down the shadows I wanted before ordering.
@@Katelynhousemakeup Haha yes, she really takes the time to be thorough. I think I made a list of the top 5-10 shades people recommended and started off ordering those (if they looked like shades I was interested in).
The best way to avoid duplicates with singles is to stick to just a few brands or ideally 1. I find Clionadh shades to read differently from other brands so I don’t have an issue buying them occasionally. I also buy a lot of Terra moons. Electrum has a unique formula so I don’t mind having theirs without fear of duping… touch of glam is also a unique formula. Dualism is also unique in that they only do holo shades. Maybe just start with one brand to avoid dupes … that’s my best advice
That is good advice! A brand is not likely to dupe themselves unless it’s like a limited edition shade they upgraded or something but I feel like even then they’d say that!
Hey Katelyn 👋🏽 The Hypernova palette by Sugar Drizzle kind of reminds of the Oceano palette. Of course the one by Clionadh is more vibrant. I can appreciate & admire Clionadh from afar. Same here, I don’t know where to start or have the finance to. I’ve only ordered an empty palette from Clionadh and that took about 2 months & has deterred me from buying anything else. Hope you get to play more with the palettes, it’s a hefty pricetag
Single eyeshadows I purchase are solely ones that make me gasp ! I have a few singles from a few of Clionadhs lines, and what i did to determine what i wanted, was to pay attention to the main color shift (in multichrome/duochromes). If it says something like "red with a green shift" i know that its a red at some sort of base. I don't purchase matte, satin or metallic singles, we can find those in our own tried and true owned palettes - i save my singles for the luxury of duo/multichrome shadows! If you are interested in trying singles, i would recommend buying your own magnetic palette (like a Z palette) and using shades in your own collection with them to mix in some single shadow shades to basically make your own palette! Ex. Say that I'm going on a trip and want only one 9-12 pan palette to take with me. I can take a small Z palette and pick and choose from my shades to make my own small palette for travel! Lots of palettes today have magnetic pans on their shadows to accommodate for this!
