Snail farmers are often face with some problems in snail farming which in turn leads to failure in snail farming if not properly handled.
In this video, I shared the 3 major problems faced by snail farmers with solution to those problems. It is important to know that the problems facing snail farming is not in anyway limited to this 3 I shared in this video.
But from experience over the years as a practicing snail farmer, i have come up with this 3 which are more often experience by snail farmers.
So as a snail farmer or intending snail farmer, it is very important that you watch this video from beginning to the end so as to gain knowledge of the likely problems you might encounter as well as their solution.

Have you actually experienced this or it's just an assumption? If the natural incubation isn't comfortable for you, then go with the other method.

There are various easy you can treat the soil. You can heat the soil, expose it to the sun, use hot water etc. I have a video on that you can also check it out.

Thank you for this video. However, I feed the snails everyday with enough food for them to eat. The first set of 26 eggs laid have not been hatched for going to two months. No more laying of eggs and the snails keep dying 😢😢. What do I do please?

If the eggs aren't hatching, that simply means you aren't hatching them properly. Kindly check how conducive the pen is, the environment, what you are feeding them and some other factors to determine what is actually killing them.

@@GozySnailFarm exactly, the easiest good to find around me is what I have mentioned and the water melon, is it the full water melon or just the one cover that remain after eating it

You can eat the water melon but don't eat everything just remain some part of the back remember they are baby snails and as such needs the soft part of the food. Try get calcium is very helpful at that early stage, if you don't know where to get it, we can deliver to you anywhere. If you need it, the link to get it is on the description of these video. First of all, you will have to remove the snails and then find out how they are managing to enter the pen. Close all openings and work on the soil. Are you using block pen and is the base plastered?

@@sampsonopeinyanney8859 dig a hole by the pen and pour palm oil in it to attract the ants for about 30 to 1hr the boil hot water and pour into the hole starting from the top so that they can't escape repeat this every 2 to 3 months. You welcome 😘
