First of all everyone in prison is threatened and in danger, that’s what American prisons are like. And secondly mcmichaels attorneys aren’t receiving hundreds of threats from prisoners. They’re receiving threats from free people outside of prison. Do you think prisoners in mass are mailing death threats to this guy’s attorney.
Sure everyone is in danger but not everyones case gets national attention, it is a little bit different. I am not defending these guys but I wouldnt doubt people are gonna seek them out over some average newcomer.
What's crazier is Kristin Clarke tried to go behind the Arbery family's back and cut the deal. When they called her out in court, she basically told the judge just ignore their wishes.

I know that none of these sentences brings Ahmaud back. However, those responsible, are being held responsible! One of these guys was in his ,mid 30's when this happened. Imagine throwing away the next 50-60 years of your life like that. Imagine being his dad, knowing his son will be in prison for the rest of his life. The father is lucky, he's 65. He got to live most of his life. He's got like 15 years left or so. Probably less, considering that he didn't look like some health nut.
@@AdamantineAxe i worked in construction and people walking into unfinished homes is pretty common. we would have people look around in the middle of work, because they are potential buyers. These men bragged about their actions while on the jail phone these men thought they weren't going to get any prison time but now they changed their tune.

I wish they had stayed in their yard, minding their own business working on the boat! Poor kid had a simple curiosity of a construction site like many people do. Nothing ever reported missing or vandalized. This was plain and simple a modern day lynching and murder.
Or at least listened to the 911 operator about not engaging. They had a description and the way he ran off, there was no need to engage. A single strand chain strung approximately 1 foot off the ground nailed to wooded post separated the so-called incarcerated from base housing. They were pretty much had free reign of the base when doing their yard details. It was a joke in regards to confinement. They actually had a softball team that competed with other organizations on base.
2:46 is one of the most important part of this video. Arbery's family needs to go after everyone in law enforcement involved in the attempted cover up of this murder. The first two prosecutors who attempted to bury this murder must answer for their actions. It's crazy. They were willing to allow a modern day lynching to go unpunished.

If so innocent why did he try to take the weapon from them rather than tell them to call the police. He was a thug. They did pursue him and when he attempted to take their weapon he died so the conviction should have been manslaughter not murder.

At the time his perception was that he was doing a good thing by helping the McMichaels. His racism blinded him to serious crimes he committed in support of those 2 gun toting vigilantes. This HAD to happen in this trial. There needed to be a clear message that hate crimes will not be tolerated. Sentences like these for such crimes need to happen more.

How sweet it is knowing these murderers will never again experience a quiet evening at home with their families. No taking the grandkids out for fishing or just pushing them on a swing at a park. The civil case mentioned includes her and i believe 3 sheriffs who tried to cut a deal and get the men out on assault charges. However that all thankfully blew up when Roddy Bryant released the video of the chase and there was no way in hell you could say it was self defense or a citizens arrest.

I usually try to have some compassion for defendants in these type of cases. However it's not there for these three men. What astounds me the most is Greg McMichaels rambling on that body cam footage about how he would have shot Ahmaud himself and why he and Travis ambushed Ahmaud. That he called 911 claiming his emergency was a black man running through his neighborhood. Greg incriminated himself with what he said to the police right after Travis killed Ahmaud. William Bryan should have stayed away from whole thing. These three men will spend rest of their lives living in hell in state prison, threats, the reminder everyday of why they are there. There are so many different levels as well as lessons to this sad sad story but after you peel away the layers of this onion, it boils down to bitterness and hatred and the consequences of harboring those vile emotions in your spirit. Just think of it, one moment you're a father and son and neighbor in your homes watching tv or whatever you were doing and in the very next moment, your hatred swallows you whole and changes your miserable, evil, hate filled lives into never again having a moments peace, EVER again. For the rest of the time these 3 nothings are alive on this planet, they'll be hunted in prison just like they hunted Ahmaud that fateful day and they'll never have a moment where they'll not look over their shoulder. And all this because of hatred.
Yes, seeing this video by sending those three men to jail for life one for 35years is very good, this treatment should be done to cop's also who kill black African-Americans who are innocent God bless that family who lost their love one.

35 years Roddie, when you saw what was going on, you should have called the police, not get in your truck and help run him down. Now they scared.
