3 million? HOW!? We never could have imagined this when we started in 2017. We set out to make the best quality piano arrangements and sheet music we could, uploading a video every single day. We are honoured that 3 million of you have liked our content enough to subscribe.

I just realized something: Andrew absolutely carried this song. I did some calculations, and within Andrew's first section, he contributed 224,208 notes to the song. Then Samuel's part came in, and he did some amazing work, bringing in 850,019 notes for his part. Then Andrew just decided to be an absolute beast with 1,925,773 notes at the end. Andrew wrote in a total of 2,149,801 notes to this amazing song, which was a whopping 77.66603% of the total notes in the song. Edit: took out the part about me sounding like a nerd because of the overwhelming support on the comment. Thank you to everyone who is reading this!

Because >95% of the "notes" are visual only, so I would call them "pixels". The actual music is mostly obscured behind the visual presentation. Now, that hidden music is still a great composition, don't get me wrong. It's just nowhere near 3,000,000 notes. And there's no way they could do it in a reasonable amount of time. If the video were an hour long, and they played a 176-key keyboard (double the range of a piano), they would still need to hit each and every key more than 4 times per second for the full hour to get to 3 million notes. That's why there are blocks of this where they are "playing" every note on their expanded keyboard like 100 times per second, trying to get the note counter up.

@@KrisPBacon69 you can always hear every note and many times they take advantage of this. They just play them at varying volumes. But point is taken they definitely played a lot of almost mute notes. Still the song sounds great and you can really hear the effort. This was not lazy by any standard.

Ahaha, thank you for the kind and thoughtful words! This video definitely did take a while to make, but we enjoyed the process! It took a lot of energy and a lot of 9-10 hour days to create it, but it was definitely worth it. 3 million is just way too much to comprehend, and it does mean a lot! Don't worry, we'll be having a break over Christmas. We work in advance, so videos will continue to come out on the channel every day, but we'll be able to relax for a couple of weeks. My note, as it were, shows up at 9:27 :) ...Honestly, I'd say you guys outdid yourselves, but that's such a regular occurrance for this channel :D That's WHY you got to 3,000,000+ subscribers, after all! Black Midis give me a dopamine rush from the visuals whenever I need one, but you guys use them to tremendous audio effect as well. They always sound nice and inspirational.
