Harrison Ford has always been one of my favorite actors and The Fugitive has always been one of my favorite movies.

Two of his best performances as far as good acting goes, at least in my opinion, were Regarding Henry and 42. He was phenomenal in both of those, and yet people barely talk about them.

@@joshuaburba1048 I’ve seen 42. The movie is racist due to it’s constant use of the N-word.

@@julianloht9651 Apparently you don't understand the context. It was about Jackie Robinson becoming the first black major league baseball player, and that is the kind of hate he faced. The movie isn't racist, it was being historically accurate.

@@joshuaburba1048 of course I understand the context. I’ve seen the movie even though I haven’t seen it in a long time.

Love it. Great job Rustin, as always. I did catch one tiny mistake on your part though. For the first effect, you said they put a camera "in the train to capture Harrison Ford's point of view," but I think you meant to say bus instead of train, since he wasn't on the train. I could be mistaken though. Keep up the good work sir.

Couldn't count how many times I've watched this movie 🤣💕👍 Thank you for sharing, have always wondered about the glass shooting scene

It’s funny that before the bus crash, the driver says “We are 20 miles from Manyard” which is a max security prison in Chester Ill. Given that Kimble escapes and stays in the general area until he reaches the damn. Having lived in the area my whole life I though it was funny that there is a giant dam around here somewhere. Also funny coincidence in that in the sequel, the Marshalls jet goes down in the same area. In both movies when Tommy Lee Jones tells the assembled police to put check points on the Chester Bridge.

Dude, this was so comfortable to watch, the first class editing kept me to the end.

Good work! I have to say, Harrison Ford’s stunts are really impressive. Did you know there’s a spin-off called US Marshals that focused on Gerard? You should make a video of that too if you can.
@FunFactFilms

Ya, I like US Marshals. It's the first DVD I ever bought for my own collection once I moved to college. I wouldn't mind doing a video on US Marshals but it would perform terribly since most people don't care about it.
@julianloht9651
@julianloht9651 2 года назад
@@FunFactFilms yeah, I agree since most people say that a spin-off shouldn’t be needed in certain movies. When you took the time off, did you watch any good movies lately during your spare time?
@joshuaburba1048
@joshuaburba1048 2 года назад
I own both movies and, although U.S. Marshals isn't as good as The Fugitive and doesn't have Ford, it's still a good movie, and I thought both Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey Jr. did excellent jobs. And the scene where Noah gets killed, ugh tears me up each time.

Unfortunately, I haven't watched any movies recently. My time off was spent doing family things and working on a freelance video project for a client.

I live not too far from where the train/bus crash was filmed. The crashed bus and locomotives are still there today, rotting away. Many people wander across the scene and think it was an actual accident and not used in the filming of this movie.

Whoah that's crazy they just left all the wreckage there.

I always thought that those dummies falling at the dam looked ridiculous. Their legs are so splayed out, 90° apart, it just looks too fake and they certainly don't look like they cost ten grand! Who would jump from any height and then as you fall keep your legs stretched as far apart as they can go?! Nobody.

Lol I always noticed that when watching movie too. They didn't think that one out too well. They'd have been better off just using cgi. But maybe back then cgi was crazy expensive 🤷‍♂️
