@@FrederikEngelmand Most of them are born in France so no... And the "foreigners" aren't people who speak English. If you're talking about the ethnicity, there are a lot of people who are born there but have foreign origins. They still speak French cause that's the language they've been speaking since birth lol. Most Parisians are bad English btw
@@Sammy-sm4yg this is so funny cause I was saying to my friends last time that the people who visit Paris are rude 😭 I guess everyone has different views But yeah even as a Parisian, Parisians are rude and cold. It was always like that and I don’t think it will change. Just pretend you don’t see them or hear them and they will feel dumb
I love Paris but the waiters did not appreciate my efforts, which weren’t bad, at speaking their language, they were rude and refused to converse in anything other then English, as if to say you’re rubbish, don’t bother.
Too humid, hotel I stayed at although historic and very luxurious had no AC. I chose it because already stayed there in January and loved it, never again in summer.
I spent 6 years studying french just to go and realize most people tought i was african lmao (I'm native american btw). It's the most useless flex I have now 😂
To be honest, I didn't know what native ppl even looked like until I moved to Canada... I'm assuming most of my fellow French people are the same 😭 sorry 🙏
Never go in August because the French go on their holidays and lots of independent businesses shut. Also the pee stink is even stronger and none of the buildings have air con
The last point is not true … because in fall especially prices are higher … everyone get back to work and there are sooo many companies that come to Paris for work and so the prices are super high as for spring it depends ! If you wanna go for a lower price go between January and march ! And ps even if you speak French the service will disappoint because That’s just how it is in Paris hahaha if you want better service go to Asian restaurants haha
Except as far as spring goes, don’t go in late May early June, because that’s when the French Open tennis is on, and all the hotels double and triple their prices
J’adore quand les touristes ont des accents particulièrement les anglais 😅 C’est trop mignon ❤ C’est vrai que certains restaurants risquent d’être un peu rude avec les touristes mais bon c’est la vie
They are racist not rough. Actually 90 percent of Europe has a subconscious bias against non whites. It's all too visible for us if not them. If they don't like tourists just ban them, u are not doing us a favor by hosting us.
I did study French but all I got was rude customer service and they all replied to me in English, so disappointing. Ill never go back to this horrible place. Peiple qre not happy and they are gossipy. The hotel keeper was gossipying about me and my bf as if I didn't understand her...
I hate winters, if only I ever get chance to visit Paris or any other foreign country’s city for that matter, I would always go in my country’s winter and that country’s summer.
@@cannibalronny7314 I’ll go, I love summers. But the thing is my passport has expired and I am not getting it renewed. Unless I would get an opportunity to go to Europe or NAM or SAM countries.
What kind of bs is that 😭 i'm french, and i can tell you most french people can't speak or understand english for shit. Just because it's a mandatory class doesn't mean people actually put effort in it lmao. Besides, learning a few words from the country you're visiting is always a courtesy.
Actually while I was working in a pharmacy one client was Australian and she tried to speak French it was so cute. I tried to gave her the words or expressions when she didn’t find them 🥰 I was really impressed because I know French is really hard 😅
As if in any country, there are people that wouldn't appreciate if you make an effort to say hello in their language! Eiffel Tower is pretty centered in Paris, not like Notre Dame de Paris, but quite reachable by walking. I don't know the purpose of your recommendations.
I actually am only abt a 20 minute car ride away from paris. So sometimes i just go for lunch there and then go back home. For me its mindblowing how people save up for years to go to paris, and i can just go there real quick and come back
No, don't make an effort to speak French - it really grates on the natives to hear an American stutter out their language. Most people understand English.
@@berberecivilise2825No, be in a more significant country first. Y'all are known for baguette and Ratatouille. Get humble in your little life bread man.
Nope... That's a preconceived idea. *Selling* pictures of the Eiffel tower illuminated, or using them for any commercial purpose is prohibited without license. But you can post them as long as it's not commercial. Only the illuminations are *commercially* protected, night ir day isn't the issue.
