The first tip about burnout and the feelings you described is very relatable. It happened and still happens to me. I would say finding an optimal balance of not neglecting your relationships during studying. This will give you a break during studying and hopefully make you feel more fulfilled during the more difficult weeks of studying.
Hi Brea, thanks for all the helpful info! have a statistics degree but went on education field after graduation. Now thinking to make a transition😅, would you recommend to start with taking some exams?
Hey there! I would actually recommend starting with learning Excel and programming first! This video explains why: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z10wT4qLa34.html Hope this helps! :D
I'm thinking about taking 4 classes for an actuarial certificate. Will that be enough to get a job? I'm currently with Allstate and would like to transition. I also have a degree in accounting and 3 years experience as an Underwriter and P&C
Honestly, you might not even need the actuarial certificate! Your degree in accounting is relevant, plus you have lots of relevant experience. Do you have any exams passed? I'd work on passing a couple of those next! Hope this helps, and wishing you luck! :D
Hey Martin! The AAC is made specifically for actuaries getting a job in the US and Canada, so I'm not sure if it would apply to the Argentinian job market :( Sorry about that!
