Hey everyone, I am the Bath Bomb Specialist on this channel (better known as The Soap Chef) where we make all things with a Rather Good Lather. I have over 20+ years experience in the maker/creator world of bath and body and I'm happy to share my knowledge/expertise with all of you.

With your recipe I don't have CSC so do I add extra slsa or CIS to make up for CSC? Thanks :)

You can use whatever surfactants you’d like. I use these b/c of how it makes the bath water feel

Thank you so much for sharing. Question, if I only have SCI powder would I use that at 3% or should I keep it at just 1%

Yes you can use just 1 of the powdered surfactants at 3% or you don’t have to use it all. Play around and find out what you like. If you omit the bubblers, just tack that % onto another dry ingredient like the baking soda or the milk powder. I wouldn’t necessarily put that extra percentage onto the kaolin clay or the cream of tartar because it could tend to dry your mix out prematurely as you are trying to work and mold.
