Things I realised in this vlog: I really love u guys! You are such a beautiful, fun, family! Pat is such a go getter! Mike is such a good lad, he is one of these rare people that I find a genuine nice person, and he seems like a great husband and dad! Baby Grace is so beautiful and seems very smart already! It's funny that Patricia is the chatty one and yet Mike's friendliness towards strangers has led to them knowing all the neighbours in the neighbourhood!!! Grace is super cute; her side eye is everything!!!! Love you guys!!!

I live in the US and have a son who lives in Japan and he has an interracial marriage, just to say I'm fascinated with your generation and I believe he is Mike's age and his wife is Patricia age. Mike I have to say I can see the love between you and Patrica and I love your blogs as well as her personal blogs. Your daughter stole my heart as Patricia was putting on her make-up, It was just priceless!
I don't know why people think mixed babies don't look like their parents. She looks exactly like her dad and also like her mom. I think it's because some people only ever interact with their own race. She is so cute and looks just like her parents.
Don't get grace's ears done at Claire's bc they use a gun. My mum got my ears done with a gun and I've had problems with the piercings my whole life. Recently i had to let the holes close and get them re pierced with a needle. But maybe it's just me who had a problem with the gun :(
so the gun shouldn't be a problem at the earlobe bc there is only flesh and no cartilage. but for a helix piercing, for example, where cartilage is, it's very dangerous bc it could shatter your whole ear.
definitely go to a professional piercer who uses needles. the jewelry and needles will be surgical/ medical grade too (but be sure to ask and reference guides online). less chance of a reaction or rejection. they can also provide advice if your family is prone to scaring/ developing keloids.
+nova lee The gun should not be used at all. It causes micro tears in the skin unlike a needle so I have no idea why it is so widely popular considering it is even more painful than a needle and causes more problems

You should get Grace some headbands from Little bear and company on Etsy. It's a shop in the UK. They have the cutest little headbands and really soft. And Rugbelly on Etsy as well. My daughter was born in April as well and they look gorgeous on her! So Grace will love them.
