This 3-night backpacking trip in the Carneddau Mountains of Snowdonia was one of the best things I have ever done in my life.. it filled me with immeasurable joy and set my soul on fire. I will never forget it! Waterfalls, swims, summits, valleys & blissful beauty; I really hope you enjoy coming along with me on this journey through the wild places😊

uhh Claire...that was epic! On a par with your 3 days in the Rhinogs , and that's saying something. I just absolutely love your films. I'm just an old codger of 77 years so my days of hiking and wild-camping are over, but, as you say, the memories DO stay with you for a lifetime. You are such an inspiration, and your editing skills, music-choices are the best; but most of all, what shines through is your beautiful personality. Making memories is surely what life's about eh. Haven't been to Snowdonia since I was at school in the UK over 50 years ago before I left to live in Australia. Your hiking and camping experiences are vastly different to those I encounter. You spend lots of time with magnificent views whereas my time is frequently spent bashing through dense bushland with the views earned only after breaking out onto alpine heath above 1000m asl. Inspiring videos. Look forward to those that follow.

Thank you Neil ☺ sorry your last one was a disaster, I had a few like that last year haha, this year has been a dream so far though, wonder how long it will last The go pro holder is a Telesin one, it just wraps around the strap & fixes with velcro. Weight.. too much 😄 my base weight for this wasn't bad at 9.2kg.. then add 2kg food, 1kg water, 2.6kg of filming gear (camera, lenses, gopro, drone, batteries, ball heads, tripod, lil lights etc) and trekking poles at 330g, looking at around 15kg total. This is my summer weight so in winter it can get up to 18kg if I'm having to carry ice axe & spikes etc along with my winter gear. It would be far more acceptable without the filming gear, but making these videos is part of the fun for me so I'm happy to bear the extra weight Hope your next trip is better, keep it up, I'm sure you'll be rewarded for persevering :D hope you have a lovely week :) 🌿 Claire 🐻

Maybe it was the heat I struggled with. 🥵. We live and learn and I will definitely plan my routes a bit better. I may try one of yours one day. They look amazing. Not sure I would camp near a steam though. The mozzies love me. 😂. I know you do these walks and videos because you love to be outside and you enjoy making them but thank you. What an amazing trio this one was. The views were breathtaking even on video footage, so know the experience and views must have been even more so wise words at the end of the video ...totally agree. I started backpacking when I was 25 back in 1982. I have always had a love for all things outdoors; the animals, trees, a good trail, a challenge. The quiet joy of a still half asleep sunrise. Or a tired but happy sunset. I have found my peace with God and hope you have to. He speaks to us from his creation of his love, and joy, and peace. My back and knees wont allow me to do long packs anymore. But I still walk to a mountain overlook or stop by a bubbling forest tarn just to listen and smell the flowers, the pines, and the moss. I now also enjoy watching videos like yours. You capture the peace and joy of being in creation and a part of it. I have many good treks under my belt. And they all still speak to me. Lovely sunset and the way some of the rocks were orange. Beautiful waterfalls and scenery. Why do people want to go abroad when there is so many beautiful places in this country. Loved the outro. Stay safe. 10/10

No place like Snowdonia, Sunshine couple of swims, hot meal, sunnsets and fall asleep listening to the rain on the tent. What more could you ask for?? Your going to have to slow mo the tent putting up as it has never worked me. Great Video Claire as they all are and thanks for taking us with you.

Well that was fun ! Although I live in China now and do most of my hiking/camping over here I studiously follow your channel, not only for your sparkling personality that puts a smile on many viewers lips I'm sure, but because my parents live near Ruthin and so I plan to do a few Snowdonia photographic / astro camps when I'm back next. And yes, loved the monologue at the end and that tiny glimpse into your 'normality'. Wish only good things for you and I'm looking forward to more of these lovely videos Claire !

I really appreciate the map view with the small window of the actual terrain. There are RU-vid's that refuse to share where the Hikes are. Even getting upset if asked what state they are in.

Think this was your best yet . Great scenery, lovely water falls and then seeing you push your self so you can swim in the sea welldone on a great vid . You made it feel like we was there with you welldone
