@@Suiltann as someone who actually plays killer, no it wasn't. the only time it was ever strong was when it was paired with hope, and if you look at all the timeing and frame data vids people made the 3% added 1.8 to 2.7 second to chase after hit in most situations if they had an easy escape route. the trick as killer is to hit people so they run into walls. hope on the other hand made it so you would look at 10 seconds extra so it made it so they could get out a lot of the time. the key to the 3% part is it made it so there was a perk slot not being used 90% of the time meaning that the 2.3 ave seconds added to chase meant they were doing gens 4% slower 100% of the time, they couldn't pick themselves up off the ground, didn't have break out and because you knew they were also running hope that meant that they had 2! less perks that could do anything in the actual match. making it so most games were WAY easier if you actually knew how to play even slightly. the combo was strong against people who didn't know how to play killer, same thing as dead hard, urban and so on. like complaining that the bottom 1% of killers had a harder time in matches because they couldn't secure a kill against people who knew how to run (Meaning only in matches where the match making had to pair new players with good/experienced players)

@@janetcomrie4284 I play a lot of killer, if the 3% mattered you were bad at killer. the 10% from it and hope sucked but that just meant they had 2 do nothing perks the entire game and if it made it to that point that's on you.

sorry in advance for the wall of text a 3% difference in speed means a 115% killer takes about 20% longer to close the distance. of course, this isnt an exact number, because chases arent just a survivor and killer running in a straight line not interacting with anything. so sometimes it makes less of a difference than a 20% extension to a chase, but very often it can make much more as it allows you to reach a window or pallet you wouldn’t make without it. if you’ve played this game for a decent amount of time you know just how often you just barely get hit through a window or get hit through the pallet as you stun the killer. mft would stop you from being hit in these situations because you reach the window or pallet sooner. if you’re even remotely decent at looping, you know how much extra time you can stall in chase just by making one single window or pallet that you normally wouldn’t be able to. against strong killers like nurse or blight who can close the distance really fast, mft wasn’t that big of a deal, you’re correct on that. it heavily punished killers with weak mobility and chase potential, which survivors really don’t need any more tools to counter than they already have. another thing i want to clarify is that it’s not the percent haste that’s the issue, it’s how easy it is to obtain the haste that’s the problem. if you look at other survivor haste perks like hope, blood pact, or power of two, nobody really complains about those, because they are much more situational even though they apply a significantly greater haste effect than mft does. all it required you to do was be injured, possibly one of the easiest perk activation conditions in the game, and on top of that there was the endurance aspect of the perk as well all bundled into one OP package. compare that to something like boon dark theory, which requires you to spend time setting up a boon, loop within the radius of the boon, and somehow prevent the killer from just snuffing out the boon during chase, all for a percent haste thats lower than mft

While it was a really strong perk that did need a nerf (not the way it was gutted) you could realistically counter play it by literally waiting 0.5 seconds more before pressing left click or other addons and stuff

@@handsomejack2892 I used to bring DH a lot. But I stoped relying on it and tried to reply more on my skills. So I didn’t really care. Unfortunately as you said a lot of people cried. (When survivors have a lot of other OP perks)

100% was expecting this over dark sense or whatever that first perk was called
