Most of the city transplants spread this lie. The people who grew up in the 5-Boroughs through the 70s, 80s, and 90s know how this city has gone down the tubes.
It's called gas lighting AKA denying reality so they can look good while shaming and talking down to everyone else who questions their lies. It is also called passive aggressive behavior.
That’s correct. The police no longer record stats on non-felony assaults. That means every assault that doesn’t reach the level of a felony is not recorded.
Crime statistics reported in the mainstream media is directly from the FBI database. Unless local and state law enforcement voluntarily report each and every crime of course those numbers arent factual. During any national election, especially one that has crime as a top 5 issue, the present administration will pressure states politically aligned to hold or not report data. When it comes to government data concerning anything I'd rather believe in the tooth fairy than what they report.

Actually I have reported so many crimes ,that happening right infront of me but unfortunately never got any resolutions. I think law doesn't exist anymore at NYC. Everything seems corrupted :/
If somebody punches you in the face, the cop will take the report and make it an assault when it gets in the precinct a supervisor will make it a slap, making it harassment. This happens every single day

Why are out of town boomers convinced NYC is some kind of criminal cesspool like in the 80s? Newsflash: you can't gimmick unalived rates, and those are down like 75% since the peak in 1990.
You seem to be pretty knowledgeable about crime in NYC. Maybe you can tell us what what you know about murders throughout the city. 1. How many have there been so far this year? 2. How many were there at this point last year? 3. How many murders were there during 2023? 4. How many murders were there during 2021? 5. How many murders were there by the time Rudy Giuliani left office in 2001? 6. How many murders were there during Dave Dinkins' first year in office in 1990? 7. Which two years, during the last 70 yrs, did NYC record the lowest number of murders and what were those numbers?
I was JUST there at the queens plaza station. It’s creepy down there. There’s no minding of business I’m looking at ALL yall like you’re looney tunes lol
But wait subways are suppose to be safe. I was called paranoid for opting to drive instead of taking the subway. In one month of taking the subway I was accosted by 3 crazy people. That was enough for me
@@__-fl3ytI’m the worst race to be taking the subway-Asian. The three were most likely black. If you take the subway u probably know the first one. There’s one stocky black guy sleeps in benches of union square 456 platform talking and cursing to himself. One was an aggressive panhandler- happened on 4-30s early 40s. One was on the Q train. The one on Q train was pleasuring himself. I was the only other person in car on other side. I changed train cars next stop. But I haven’t been on subway in years so they may or may not still be there
@@tattoomesam I think Latinos are the ones with more racists attacks at the moment follow for Asians. But for these kinds of attacks yes I feel like Asians are being attacked more because of your body size. I have seen many news about old Asian women being attacked after that latinas don't matter what age
I thought no weapons were allowed in the subway. How come no one complies with all those laws and regulations you have that you say make people feel safe. Quite odd.
No citizen on their right mind and that cares about their safety should even follow those stupid laws when the criminals who these POS D.A. keep releasing don't follow them.
I thought the city had an answer ? “If they erase fare evasion, there will be no more crime in the subways.” NYC is basically GTA V now. You can do whatever you want. 🤣🤣
Thank you kindly Arthur Chien and Duarte Geraldino for your collaborations in updating the general public about this terrible triple stabbing in Queens. Duarte I literally appreciate you provide sufficient information, indepth news footage of the crime scene, the nature and statistics of the crime, full details of how the crime occur, and your imperson interview with subway riders. Thank you for your report regarding the apprehension of the suspect that committed a horrible stabbing at Manhattan subway station. God bless you all, have a wonderful week.
Then it will all come to a dead stop. lol. Remember when your orange jesus said “It stops here and it stops now”. Spoiler alert. It didn’t even slow down.
Nope, no crime in NYC. Subways are safe. Violent crime is way down. Yeah sure, what lies. Transit crimes down because reporting is down. Can’t find a cop because the NYPD officer count is down, many are assigned at migrant shelters. Also people figure what’s sense in reporting, criminals only get let go anyway.
Please keep your phone in your pocket and keep your eyes moving surrounding while you’re waiting or riding on the train , even you are walking on the street , NYC police can’t protect anyone, except yourself
